Actors Jung Il Woo, Jung In Sun, and Yoon Hyun Min are set to lead the KBS2 upcoming weekend drama “Splendid Days”!
“Splendid Days” is a generational family drama exploring the concept that everyone experiences their own glorious days—whether in the present, the past or furture. It is a melodrama that resonates across generations and tells how people encounter and reflect on these meaningful moments in life.
Director Kim Hyung Suk, known for dramas such as “Cheat On Me ,If You Can,” “My Golden Life,” among many, reunites with script writer So Hyun Kyung once again after working together in the drama “My Golden Life.”
Jung Il Woo plays Lee Ji Hyuk, a capable man recognized for his success in both his professional and personal life. He is a driven, level headed person with a sharp sense of humor. Though his life appears glamorous on the surface, he experiences rock bottom, overcomes misfortune, and gradually discovers the true meaning of life.
Jung In Sun takes on the role of Ji Eun Oh, a cheerful and optimistic café manager and interior designer. Despite growing up under tough circumstances, she lives her life with passion sans regret. Despite getting rejected by her longtime crush, Lee Ji Hyuk, she remains by his side as a warm and steady presence.
Yoon Hyun Min plays Park Sung Jae, a polished and confident man born into privilege. Raised in a wealthy environment, he has both composure and manners and seems to lack nothing. Yet beneath the surface, he suffers a sense of loneliness. After bonding with Ji Hyuk and meeting his family ,his life takes turning point as he navigates the line between love and friendship.
