The episode starts with Jahan’s uncle visiting Dolly. Jordan and Ilahi are shopping for the competition. The costume designer says to Ilahi that the dress looks pretty but she has to change her look. He shows the video to her and says that they are looking good on the stage. Jordan is stylish, so she has to look good enough to stand beside him. He asks her to cut her hair. Ilahi says that she can’t cut her hair. Jordan asks her not to force herself. The stylist says to her that they are going to participate in the great Indian voice competition. The judge will give points to their costume also. Jordan tries to convince her. Ilahi refuses to do it. Jordan recalls the way Jahan asked her to promise him that she wouldn’t cut her hair. Jordan says to Ilahi that he doesn’t want to force her to do it. He can’t hurt Ilahi to win the competition. Ilahi asks him to trim her hair short.
Dolly’s brother feels guilty about seeing her state. He asks them to return home. Jahan recalls the way he humiliated his parents and refuses to go with him. Meanwhile, Ilahi is with the stylish. Jordan assures her that he is with him. The stylist asks them to do her manicure and pedicure. Jordan excuses her for making a call. He signals to the stylish to cut her hair. He trims her hair short. He asks her to have a look. Ilahi is shocked to see the short hair. She asks them how could they do like that with her? Jordan thinks that he won’t allow anything to stay with her, which Jahan likes a lot. Ilahi argues with the beautician for trimmed her hair short. The stylist says that she looks good in this hair style. Ilahi complaints to Jordan that they trim her hair short. Jordan pretends to argue with the stylish. Ilahi collects her hair and leaves from there. Jordan appreciates stylists. Ilahi leaves from there in an auto.
Ilahi reached the place where she used to always meet Jahan. She asks him why he left her alone? She doesn’t know what is going on in her life? She cries thinking about her state. She notices Jahan there. He asks her what her name is? She mentioned her name. Jahan says that whether she cuts her hair or not, she won’t change. She is still his Ilahi. He motivates her. Ilahi smiles at him and throws her hair in the river. She notices Jahan’s reflection disappears from there. Later, Jahan prays in gurudwara. Jahan recalls the humiliations he faced in India. He thinks that they snatched many things from him, so he has to fight with them. Ilahi reached her house. Ilahi thinks that she shouldn’t break in front of everyone. She thinks that she is aware Jahan left. She wanted to talk with him once. Why did he leave her alone? Jahan misses Ilahi.
Ilahi gets emotional about reaching her home. She recalls her moments with Amardeep and Diljhot she spent in the house. Ginni notices Ilahi there and asks who she is? She is stunned to see her in short hair. Biji and Happy are also stunned to see her like that. Biji asks her why she had to trim her hair? They make fun of her. Ilahi hugs Amardeep in happiness. He notices her hair has been cut short. Biji says that she used to cry when they ask her to cut her hair. But she cut her hair after she married a rich family. Ilahi tries to explain her situation to him. He says that she looks beautiful in this hair. Jordan comes there. Amardeep says that he will take Arathi to them. She thanked him for coming here. He says that he will do anything for her happiness.
Amardeep welcomes Ilahi and Jordan to his house. Ginni and Biji serve snacks to them. Amardeep gives a gift to them. Lucky praises her new appearance. Ilahi says to him that tomorrow is the competition’s final round. He might attend it. He assures her because it’s an important day in her life. He gives a cotton candy to her. Ilahi imagines Jahan there. Jordan gets frustrated at seeing it.
