The episode starts with three servants bringing liquor to Jinyowon for ancestral rituals. Young Lady Jin ruins the liquors as it’s not made with the right water. They say that the well is all dried up and so couldn’t get the water. They request water from her inside Jinyowon. She invites one of them in to fetch water. He meets with Naksu and is mesmerized by her beauty. She takes liquor from him and runs away hearing voices. He shares with his fellow servants about the same when suddenly a dead body falls in front of them. They find the whole mortuary’s dead bodies ruined and gets s cared. They find Jang Uk there who fights with a soul shifter. The soul shifter mocks him for being a himself a soul shifter who came back alive with the ice stone. He kills him and the maids give him a charm which could shoo away Naksu. One of the servant identifies him as Young master Jang who was betrayed and almost killed by Naksu. He revolves in her memory. Park Dang Gu is chasing after another soul shifter in Dae Gu who runs into Jinyowon. Outsiders are not allowed into Jinyowon and he gets emotional seeing Jin after three years. He’s still guilty about what happened with her but Jin behaves coldly with him and refuses to let him enter. Jang Uk still enters it with his powers and captures the soul shifter. Jin and her mother were worried that he would meet Bu Yeon alias Nak su. Jin assures that there’s barrier around her and he can’t meet her.
However the barrier automatically reveals itself to Jang Uk while he was killing the soul shifter. He enters to find Bu Yeon but she refuses to share her name with him. He first thought that she’s some Lousy Priestess but understands that she has special powers when she saw through the ice stone in his body. She pleads him to take out but he refuses saying that he already has bad blood with Jinyowon and can’t afford to edge it further. She asks him to pay steps on wall using metals for her to climb up and escape. Jin learns that he’s near Bu Yeon and goes to her. She finds only Bu Yeon who lies that none visited her. She sees the path made by Jang who asked her to not reveal that they met to anyone in return for his favour. Park reports to Heo Yeom about Jang Uk catching another soul shifter. He asks hi to be close with Jang Uk as Yul also left him. He says it’s hard to explain as it’s kind of awkward. Maidservant Kim greets Jang Uk who came back home. She found that he used Nak Su’s sword to kill soul shifter and it would be difficult for him at the night. Even servants were scared to visit him. Wraiths surrounf him all night for the ice stone attracts them but Jang Uk is used to their haunt now. Kim visits Geo Yeon and is happy to see Park handling business well. She says about Lady Heo still having feelings for Jang Uk and Heo Yeom is not happy about it. He asks her to tell Park Jin to stop sending pickles as they are fed up of it.
Park Jin is making pickles when Kim comes there. She finds him making another batch of pickle and tastes it in his absence to find it awful. She apologizes him seeing the balsam flowers saying that Jang Uk is still ill and she can’t come leaving him. She also feels bad as more than feeling bad for him stepping down she was happy that Jang Uk saved. Park Jin says that he’s happy with his simple life right now. Park learns that a wedding is planned in Jinyowon and he thinks it’s for Jin but it’s actually for Bu Yeon. Bu Yeon gets upset when her other says that she can’t get out even when she gets married as her husband will shift there and se is marrying only to have eldest daughter. Yul is coming back to Dae Ho after years. Master Lee reports to Crown Prince about Jang Uk killing another soul. He wants Crown Prince to reward him personally but Jin Mu says against it. AMster Lee convinces Crown Prince using the sacrifices Jang Uk made for him. Crown Prince visits Jang Uk who doesn’t respect him much. They have a blunt conversation. Bu Yeon escapes from Jinyowon and Jin tries to find her using her bracelet.
Bu Yeon is roaming around the market to find the place where her prospective groom is staying. She enquires about him in the hotel bribing the owner lady. The owner asks her servant to check for the authenticity of the pin. She says about the four prospective husband material there which includes Crown Prince,Park,Yul and Jang Uk. She thinks she’s searching for Yul but also believes that she’s a thjef. People chase after her but BU Yeon escapes. She comes to port and gets on a boat to escape from her servants finding her. Yul meets with Park along with Yul’s uncle. Yul regrets for abandoning hima nd Jang Uk in their vulnerable time.
Everyone were scared of Jang Uk and avoids going near him. Bu Yeon also sees him and learns about him from others. She joins his table for food and he orders food for her. She proposes a deal to marry her so that she can escape from Jinyowon. He calls her mad but she tries to lure him with her beauty and skills but he didn’t budge. She reveals that she’s the long lost daughter Bu Yeon and he believes her a s she could see the ice stone. She hides as her servants near by. She says that she will wait for him till the wedding and asks him to come to her as he may need her help. Yul and Park meets with Park Jin who also invites Jang Uk for having treat. Eveyone have a difficult time swallowing the food.
Cho Yeon asks the servant to send message to Park that it was her who’s getting married as none knows about Bu Yeon. Park cries in pain while Jang Uk discusses with Park JI that he may find someone to get rid of the ice stone. Park Jin warns him not to as he’s alive because of it . Bu Yeon got ready for her marriage while Yul’s uncle is her groom. She lost her hope that Jang Uk will come for her when suddenly a storm makes her disappear. She meets AJng Uk who says that he needs her for something. She happily hugs him considering him her husband.
