The episode starts with Eun Seo picking up Seung Hee from hospital and both plan to have a meal outside. Jong Suk mocks In Ho for being scared that his truth would be exposed and warns him to not reveal the truth to her mother for the time being. They all go to restaurants and that’s when Ae Sim’s boyfriend’s wife breaks the news about In Ho’s affair and secret love child to Dok Rye. In Ho confronts Seung Hee and Eun Seo if they were really there by coincidence which offends them. Dok Rye confronts the family if they know the truth and they all stand guilty. She calls out for In Ho and asks if it’s true and In Ho goes silent. She says to continue the remaining talk at her home.
Eun Seo and Seung Hee leave the place to go somewhere else when Eun Seo asks if it’s really difficult to let go off In Ho and Seung Hee answers that she would know when she falls in love. Eun Seo says she already knows and they both have spicy Street food to clear their mind. In Ho begs for forgiveness from Dok Rye who returns the cosmetics gifted by Ae Sim after knowing the real reason for buying it for her. She’s equally angry at Jong Suk for hiding about it from her and asks her to resolve it between themselves and also asks In Ho to sincerely apologize to her daughter. She leaves to vacate the hospital.
Dok Rye comes to the hospital to vacate her thing and Jong Suk tries stopping her. She gets a call from Dok Rye’s physician and she visits one by one who has various predictions to treat Dok Rye’s illness. She goes through a procedure for improving her condition while Jong Suk is worried about her mother. She decides to visit Seung Hee but finds her not present in the cabin. She checks the papers on her table and finds Seung Hee working hard to cure her mother.
Seung Hee discusses with fellow staff about the reason for Dok Rye’s illness and they couldn’t come to a conclusion yet. After the procedure, Dok Rye tries leaving the hospital but Jong Suk stops her asking her to stay as she wants her to stay by her side so that she can feel assured. I Rang visits Seung Hee and apologizes for hurting Eun Seo . She also pleads with her to break up with her father and cure her grandmother and in return she would give up a year of her art school as Eun Seo wished. Seung Hee feels terrible.
I Rang visits Oh Dok Rye as they recall theor past memories. Dok Rye calls her pretty who’s later joined by Jung Min and Jong Suk. They both tease I Rang and Dok Rye while I Rang suggests Dok Rye to go for a walk in wheel chair with Jong Suk. As they start walking Dok Rye advises her to not think that she’s the only one who’s miserable as she could still pursue her Doctor career with her children supporting in all her step. They both come back to find the room dark and I Rang and Jung Min surprises with cake and gifts which she wished for in the past. Dok Rye gets overwhelmed. In Ho is satisfied seeing his happy family. Seung Hee tried her best to identify Dok Rye’s condition and consults with foreign professor to get an idea. Mi Hee visits Oh Dok Rye and suggests Jong Suk to shift her to another hospital where she’s friends with a Professor. Jong Suk gets into thinking.
Seung Hee learns that Oh Dok Rye is getting shifted to another hospital. She gives her piece of medical advise to Jong Suk to not shift her for her well being. She also asks her to take care of herself as she doesn’t look well. Oh Dok Rye recovers and the Chief credits Seung Hee for her recovery. Jong Suk thanks her in private but also says that she didn’t forgive her still. Seung Hee says about I Rang’s visit and asks Jong Suk to let her go to any college she want and she doesn’t need to skip her year. She also says that they are hurting their children way too much. Jong Suk angrily goes to In Ho with divorce petition but In Ho is not ready to give her divorce. She says that his daughters are suffering and asks him to see over himself. In Ho goes to a bar where Seung Hee often visits and meets with Seung Hee. He apologize her and also says that he don’t want to divorce.
Seung Hee gets upset When she learnt that he fell on his knees for Jong Suk to take back the divorce and gets upset. Jong Suk also meets with Mi Hee and shares her feelings with her. Mi Hee suggests her to move on with Roy Kim but Jong Suk says she has no time to think about all that. Seung Hee has a hard time leaving In Ho at his doorstep and In Ho wakes up the next morning and acts steady. Ae Sim couldn’t able to contact her boyfriend and gets frustrated. In Ho gets furious upon receiving the divorce notice. He confronts Jong Suk about it and speaks bad about her relationship with Roy Kim . Jong Suk gets even more furious.
Roy Kim gets call from the DNA center and he asks Jong Suk to accompany him to meet his family. Oh Dok Rye gets discharged and she leaves a letter for Seung Hee asking her to not lose her identity for someone worthless. Seung Hee breaks down.Jjng Min wants to get elistef in military and So Ra wants to wait for him. She makes their relationship public. Roy Kim meets with his family who actually found only for his bone marrow as their father needs it. Roy Kim gets devastated but Jong Suk suggests running with him and he agrees. They both start running together. Jong Suk suddenly coughs blood and gets shocked.
