The episode starts with Cha Jong Suk attending the interview. When asked about her urge to pursue her career at her age she answers that she had made the wrong decision but now has gained enough experience to pursue the career and cope with it with maturity. The Chief appreciates her sincerity while others were not sure about it. Jong Suk meets with her son Jung Min outside who asks about her sudden decision. She says about her scoring 49 out of 50 in the resident exam and he’s impressed with it. She then meets with Seung Hee who was shocked to see her there. She says about her applying in family medicine and Seung Hee discourages her. She asks if her husband knew about her applying for the job and she said no. When asked the reason she says that when he didn’t mind to share that Seung Hee was working in the same hospital as his.
Seung Hee then meets with In Ho and shares with him about Jong Suk. He gets shocked and Seung Hee says that she’s leaving to meet her father who’s suffering with stage 4 pancreatic Cancer. Jong Suk gets disheartened when she gets rejected while In Ho gets elated over the same. He suggests her to go on a trip. Both she and Mi Hee are at the airport to leave for the trip. Mi Hee asks her the real reason for her wanting to join her husband’s working place. Jong Suk tells her about Seung Hee working there shocking Mi Hee. Mi Hee rightly predicts that she wants to keep an eye on him. The applicant who got selected over Jong Suk backed off at the last minute and so Jong Suk gets the job. She gets elated over the same.
Next day she happily joins her first day of work. She gets mixed reactions while Seung Hee is the most shocked as she joins as a resident under her. In Ho is equally terrified. Seung Hee confronts In Ho about the same and is very much furious at him. In Ho calms her down for the moment. As he’s about to call Jong Suk, he gets mail that Roy Kim joined the hospital. He rushes to meet him. Jong Suk is taking rounds examining patients in the hospital with Seung Hee. In Ho explains the situation to Roy Kim and pleads him to stop Jong Suk.
Roy Kim refuses to listen to his pleas. He asks him to atleast keep his relationship with Jong Suk for which the latter agrees. Roy Kim searches for Jong Suk. Seung Hee lashes out at her senior for hiring Jong Suk under her. Just then another doctor comes and says that a trainee in In Ho’s team has quit as she got pregnant. Upon Seung Hee’s suggestion, Jong Suk is shifted to In Ho’s team. She has a hard time coping up with tiresome duties. In Ho confronts her for joining the hospital Jong Suk gives him a befitting reply.
Jung Min is worried about Jong Suk’s health. Jong Suk assured him that she feels more stronger than she ever was. He later texts her extending his support for her. She meets with Roy Kim who asks if she still didn’t divorce her husband after what happened. Jong Suk says that it takes a lot of courage to divorce than to get into a marriage. She gets upset as he claims himself adopted but later jokes on it.
Jong Suk is not sure if he really meant it or not and takes her leave. She sleeps in taxi and comes home exhausted. Her mother in law tried to lecture her but she’s too tired to bother. Her daughter complained about her not fulfilling her responsibility for which she makes it clear that she gave them enough attention already. She says that it’s them who need to fight further. She complaints about it tomorrow friend who happens to be Seung Hee’s mother. She too dislikes her mother. In Ho tried persuading Jong Suk to quit but in vain. He makes it clear that she won’t get any favour just because she’s his wife. Jong Suk doesn’t expect it. However In Ho troubles Jong Suk and insults him in front of others pointing out her shortcomings. On the contrary Roy Kim helps her.
Jong Suk finds So Ra lashing out at Jung Min and her dislike for her increases ten folds. Later, So Ra catches Jong Suk and Jung Min in an awkward situation and misunderstands them. In Ho and Seung Hee plan to humiliate and over burden Jong Suk so that she suits herself. The chief invites everyone for a team dinner to welcome Roy Kim. In Ho feels intimidated with Jong Suk and Roy Kim’s closeness.
Jong Suk laughs out loud when everyone call In Ho a perfect husband but manages the situation. In Ho asks Jung Min to handle his mother . Jung Min tries handling her but So Ra again misunderstood them and gets jealous. Chief asks Jong Suk about her husband and she says he’s no more shocking In Ho.
