The episode starts with Chief asking Jong Suk about her husband for which she replies that he’s long gone shocking In Ho. He gets even more troubled when she says that she don’t even miss him at all. Roy Kim sings a song in karaoke and he pass it on to Jong Suk. She lightens up the environment with a happy song and everyone joins her. While returning she indirectly asks In Ho to drop her but he denies. She then decides to take a taxi when Roy Kim comes with the bike. She leaves taking a lift from him irking In Ho more. Jong Suk enjoys her bike ride and gets emotional.
Jung Min is seen to be in a relationship with his senior Jeon and they spend the night together. Jong Suk apologizes to Roy Kim for making him uncomfortable but Roy Kim says that he’s still offended that she still lives with her husband. Jong Suk claims that he’s not bad but only turned this way recently. Jong Suk comes back home while In Ho is still angry that she went with Roy Kim. Later she leaves a letter for her daughter to cheer for her in following her dreams just like she does for her but Yi Rang ignores it.
Jong Suk brings food for Jung Min but Jeon snatches it from him and haves it herself which infuriates Jong Suk. Kwak keeps complaining the maid about how her work is not perfect as her daughter in law and the maid gets frustrated with her tantrums. She calls Jong Sik and says that she can’t work there anymore and quits the job. In frustration, Jong Suk prescribes wrong dosage of medicine to a patient. Jeon lashes out at Jong Suk for the same and scolds her for her carelessness.
Jong Suk feels ashamed as everyone saw the situation while Jung Min OS worried about his mother’s relationship with his girlfriend. He tries asking Jeon to act a little more considerate with Jong Suk but she paid no heed. Jong Suk expresses her dislike towards Jeon to Jung Min. Oh Doek Rye bumps with Kwak in Mi Hee’s clinic where they both mock each other. Mi Hee finds a suspicious tumor on her back and warns her to get tested. Oh asks Mi Hee to keep it a secret. Oh spots Kwak with a man and thinks if they are in affair.
Jong Suk offers food to Roy Kim for his comfort last night when Roy Kim insists her to join for lunch with him later. Roy Kim bumps with Seung Hee in canteen and she gets impressed with his charm. She gets angry when she finds him having food with Jong Suk and acting close with her. In Ho who also passed by sees it and goes back. Jong Suk has a hard time understanding technique and keeps calling Jung Min multiple times to explain the procedure to her which interrupts hus work. Having had enough, Jung Min scolds his mother for her continuous interruption idyring his work.
Jong Suk gets angry at him in return for complaining about helping his mother. Jung Min later sends videos of the procedures and Jong Suk is surprised with the advanced technology. Later, In Ho briefs about a woman cancer patient who’s also a prisoner for killing her husband. Jong Suk is given the responsibility of convincing her to accept for the surgery but she didn’t oblige. Jong Suk has a hard time controlling the rich Chairman who’s furious upon learning that he needs to wear an excretion bag all his life after the surgery.
Jong Suk performs CT x ray of a patient and finds that she has pneumothorax. She needs immediate procedure to take place but Jong Suk had no experience in it. She calls Jeon and other doctors for held but everyone was held up. Having no option she calls In Ho to perform the procedure but he refuses to come. She blackmails him by threatening to reveal about their relationship in public and In Ho had no option but agree. Some people noticed their casual interaction. In Ho couldn’t do the procedure well given the fact that he had never performed minor surgeries for years. Jeon gets surprised seeing In Ho there and takes over the procedure and completes it. People gossip about In Ho’s relationship with Jong Suk. The prisoner patient asks Jong Suk to stop caring about her as all she wants to do now is die. She then finds the Chairman having late night snack and still refusing to have the surgery.
Jong Suk shares about it with Roy Kim who encourages her to talk with the patient as she’s good in comforting. Later, Kim leaves to the orphanage where he was adopted to find about his birth parents. In Ho and Seung Hee are playing indoor golfing while Seung Hee says about the growing relationship between Jong Suk and Roy Kim. In Ho dismisses it saying that it’s because he’s her doctor. Seung Hee’s daughter Ah Rin is at Jong Suk’s house with her friend In Rang. She sees the family picture and indirectly hints about In Ho and Seung Hee’s affair. In Ho and Seung Hee hide seeing their colleagues in the same golfing court.
Jong Suk finds bracelet bill in In Ho’s cloth pocket while taking it out for wash. She confronts In Ho about the same who lies that it’s her surprise gift he got for her birthday which is after two months. Jong Suk believes it and gets greatly impressed with his act. She sets up the bath tub for him and offers him wine. She asks about Seung Hee but In Ho pretends like he doesn’t care about her. In Ho buys the same bracelet for Jong Suk. Later Jong Suk apologizes Seung Hee for what happened years back but Seung Hee remains cold with her. Jong Suk tries reviving Chairman patient who collapsed when she notices In Ho and Seung Hee passing smiles and In Ho’s bracelet on Seung Hee’s wrist. She gets electrocuted and faints.
