The Episode starts with Hye Joo recalling Soo Bin and Yeo Jin’s words. She enters the press conference halal determining to not bear the brunt of other’s choices. She reveals that she lied about her son being a sex offender while her husband raped a woman 5 years back. She recalls discussing about it with Yeon Seo who pleaded her to not expose Jung do to the world as he considers the incident a simple stain and is worried about the consequences. Hye Joo still went on to expose him in order for prevailing the truth. Everyone gets shocked with Hye Joo’s revelation while Jae Woo informs Jang Do that the press conference ended. On the other hand, Kang Soon Hong also revealed about his land encroachment and apologizes in front of media in another press conference. He promised to sell the land and donate all. Only after coming out he realized that Jung Do is caught up in a much serious allegation and regrets for going out to express himself. Yoon Seo also sees it all and tries to speak with Yeon Seo. Yeon Seo lashes out at her and asks whether she said the truth. Hye Joo reprimanded her for her behavior. She comforted Yeo Jin who’s emotionally exhausted.
Woo Jae asks Jung Do to not accept the claims as no one has any proof against him to prove that he is a sexual offender. He says that they could prove Yeo Jin as money hungry person and Hye Joo fell for her lies as she was mentally unstable. He says that his marital life ended and aske him to save his career. Soo Bin tries to reach out to Hye Joo but finds her phone switched off. She finds the restaurant helper who worked with Yeo Jin giving statement in media that Yeo Jin lied about sexual harassment and that she has an eye on Assemblyman Nam who treated her so well. Soo Bin rubbishes it off saying that she’s lying as Yeo Jin removed her from her job as she stole money. The reporters then surrounded Soo Bin to get her statement while Soo Bin says that she’s just someone who know them. Yoo Shin is enjoying the mess around Hye Joo and Jung Do while Seung Hee asks her not to enjoy others misery as it has nothing to do with Seung Ho. Ki Young comes there and breaks the news that Soon Hon turned himself in a promised to donate the land. Yoo Shin panics and asks him to contact Nam Jung Do. She says that she’s ready to say that Jae Un is innocent and asks him to hand over the evidence. Ki Young asks why he will as Jae Un didn’t lie about anything. She says that people only believe her and the truth doesn’t matter. Seung Hee is stunned hearing it and confronts her mother for her lie. Her mother says that only her child’s happiness matters to her and faints. Ki Young came clean to Seung Hee.
Woo Jae and Jung Do are eon their way to Woo Jae’s vacation place so that they could come ack once the mess is cleared. Woo Jae gets down tom buy stuffs from convenience store when he finds message from Hye Joo. She asks him to own to his mistakes and relent for it. Woo Jae comes back to find Jung do gone. He calls Hye Joo if Nam called her or anything and she says no. he says about his disappearance and asks her to contact him. She recalls him saying that they must visit Sokchae after the aw is passed. She reaches the place to find Jung do drowning himself to suicide. She drags him out and lashes out at him for trying to run away like a coward and asks him to serve the punishment t for his crime. He apologizes her. Next day, Jung Do himself turns in. Woo Jae recalls how he left Ji Hoon despite having the chance to save him from drowning. Soo Bin’s ex-boyfriend Jung Dae again calls her to threaten her but Soo Bin is not scared. She went to Police Station to file complaint against Jung Dae. She also exposed the Chief advisor of Assemblyman Kang Soon Hong. He got caught later.
Soo Bin met with Hye Joo and handed over all the pictures of Ji Hoon she had. She also shared with her about how Jung Do felt bad for hurting her in the process of rebelling against his father. She adds that he wanted to quit and start a fresh start. Hye Joo breaks down in tears. Seung Hee sent off Ki Young to Osaka promising to join him after getting paid for her actions. She meets with Hye Joo and apologizes for misunderstanding her. She asks her to sue both her and her mother. She recalls abandoning her mother for her lies.
5 months later, Hye Joo meets with Jung Do in prison to get his signature on divorce paper. She leaves giving him the diary he once used. He looks at it emotionally. Yeon Seo’s friend says that she confessed about her father’s affair to her mother who revealed that he knew it all along. She also encourages Yeon Seo to forgive her mother as she took inspiration from Hye Joo. Again in classroom everyone belittles Yeon Seo for being a rapist daughter. Yeon Seo accepts that her father is rapist but she’s proud of the fact that her mother came out very truthful. She reconciles with her mother. Ye Joo resumes with her book conservation. Hye Joo and Yeon Seo reunite soon after while Hye Joo continues to concentrate on her work.
