The episode starts with Pil Gwang provoking Ma Ju Seok by revealing the truth to him. Ju Seok kills him in front of all and consumes his soul. Upon entering Ju Seok’s body , Pil Gwang kills Ju Seok’s evil spirit and takes over the control of the powers. Jeok Bong who’s on his way with the Counters smells Avery bag stench of a complete evil spirit instead of two separate spirits. Pil Gwang kills the Police and escapes. Upon reaching there, the Counters witness Pil Gwang’s body getting taken away. They wonder about the reason behind it. Upon discussion with Yung people they realise that Pil Gwang has eaten Ju Seok’s body and taken control of his body. They also reveal that he could catch them using their own territory and says the territory is no more for their benefit. So Mun wonders how to summon it but Gi Wen says it’s out of discussion now as they need to get rid of the evil spirit completely shocking everyone.
Jang Mul is shocked by Yung’s decision. He asks what would happen to those innocent souls who are trapped inside Ju Seok’s body. So Mun tells that Ju Seok only killed Park and Hwang but the ones killed by Hwang are countless. He believes that there is still hope that Ju Seok could be summoned but Mo Tak doesn’t agree with him. They have conflict where Mo Tak stands with Yung’s decision but So Mun wants to come up with an alternate plan. Pil Gwang is rejoicing him bis powers. So Mun feels bad that he didn’t act early as Ju Seok was very close to summoning the evil spirit. So Mun couldn’t give up on Ju Seok and asks Han Na to help to read his memory. He summons the territory and gets into Pil Gwang’s mind. Oil Gwang tries to suffocate him but he also hears Ju Seok asking him to leave. He believes that Ju Seok is still there inside Pil Gwang. The Police station is in chaos as they get numerous reports from people stating that get saw Ju Seok. Mo Tak asks them to not look down on anything as they could be risking their life to give them clues.

But Wi Gen says the decision stands the same. Mo Tak and Han Yul are visiting all the reported places to find Ju Seok. Han Yul expresses his fear of facing Ju Seok despite him understanding his situation. Han Yul gives his wedding invitation to Mo Tak. Upon reaching the place, Mo Tak is searching when suddenly Han Yul tries shooting himself. Mo Tak saves him and Pil Gwang appears in front of him. He gets into a fight with Mo Tak and wants to read his memories to find the Counters hideout. He also stabs Han Yul when he tried intervening. As Mo Tak is struggling to fight him , Pil Gwang holds Han Yul hostage to come to him to read his memories. As he delays he kills Han Yul in front of Mo Tak. Mo Tak screams in agony and upon his Yung partner’s insistence he leaves the place. He comes back to the dorm in fury to kill Nu Seok. He hits So Mun when he tries reasoning with him. He says that Ju Seok killed Han Yul without hesitating a bit shocking everyone. He swears to kill Ju Seok and angrily leaves the place while Han Na follows him to assist him. So Mun breaks down.
Han Na and Mo Tak find Han Yul’s body missing and also finds Ju Seok gone. So Mun visits Ju Seok’s mother who now wishes that Ju Seok dies and reunites with Min Ji in heaven and asks So Mun to be the only one who delivers the news to her. So Mun again breaks down. Mo Tak asks Han Na if she’s not really agreeing with his point of killing Ju Seok. Han Na denies and says that they cant keep killing all the evil spirit just because they grew stronger. Mo Tak asks then why would she follow him and she tells that she would have did it no matter who left the way he did. Mo Tak gets a call and rushes to find Han Yul admitted. Han Na reads his memory and finds that it’s actually Ju Seok who saved him as said by So Mun. Jeok Bong, Jang Mul and Mae Ok we’re preparing a delicious meal upon learning that Mo Tak and Han Na are returning. Jeok Bong suddenly vomits unable to bear the stench of Ju Seok. They understand that he’s there and Ju Seok recalls reading Mo Tak’s memory when he saved Han Yul to find out their hideout. The three hide and inform the other three about it. Jang Mul shares about a self destruction button in the dorm and asks hi. To activate when he fights with Ju Seok and divert him. However instead Jang Mul Mae Ok gets into a fight and Jang Mul and Jeok Bong join her. Jeok Bong reaches the red destruction button but Pil Gwang stops him from hitting it. So Mun comes there and saves them and hits the button himself. As the door starts closing, he sends others out retaining himself with Pil Gwang. The timer starts when suddenly the other counters along with Han Na and Mo Tak enter. They save So Mun and stand with him to summon the evil spirit.
