The episode starts with Hwang visiting the noodle shop and So Mun immediately identifies him. He gets furious seeing him and rightly predicts that he’s there to judge his power. They both throw taunts at each other and shows their special powers to the other person. Han Na and Ma Ok are in stand-by as there are children in the restaurant. Hwang takes his leaves while So Mun’s nose bleeds with the use of excessive power. Ju Seok steals the fire truck for his revenge. Mo Tak finds Jeok Bong pretty bad in his shape as he tries to teach him. He receives the news about Ju Seok stealing the fire truck. Ju Seok attacks the guards as they enter a tunnel and reaches his way to the culprit. He confronts him with the reason for killing his wife but he doesn’t have any memory of it. He tries to kill him but couldn’t gain the courage to do so when Mo Tak reaches there on time. Ju Seok gets arrested and refuses to have an attorney as he’s ready to get his punishment.
So Mun meets Ju Seok in prison and is relieved that he didn’t kill the culprit. However he gets shocked when Ju Seok says that he regrets not killing the culprit due to his cowardness and hates himself for it. Later the counters are having noodles when Ma Ok notices So Mun training hard. Everyone asks him to not exhaust himself as everyone there is equally anxious about the situation. Later Jang Mul takes everyone to his company and shows them a new hide out with all the necessary amendments. They were totally in awe with their new hideout and So Mun shares a room with Jeok Bong. So Mun warns the other counters about the evil spirit’s power and asks them to be more alert than ever. He trains with them to fight the spirit posing as the evil spirit. At first everyone talks down defeated but in the end Han Na overpowers him without giving up.
Ju Seok is in prison when he gets bullied by fellow prisoners. He gets into a fight with him and is put in a separate cell. A heartbroken Ju Seok tries to commit suicide by hanging himself to the window. His rage and vengeance summons an evil spirit and getting influenced by it he accepts the evil spirit in his body. He turns into an evil spirit. Han Na goes to run and Jeok Bong joins her to train with her. He gets exhausted as she runs for over 6 hours. He leaves to get an ice cream after much pleading. In the meantime, Han Na encounters her teenage love Do Hwi who’s equally happy to see her. She tried lying that she’s not Han Na but Jeok Bong who’s back exposed her. He suddenly falls bleeding in his nose and Han Na and Do Hei take him in. As Do Hwi goes out, Jeok Bong keeps complaining about a bad stench he’s experiencing. At the same time, Han Na senses an evil spirit and she fights it to capture it. She understands that Jeok Bong’s super power is that he can sense evil spirits. Do Hwi come back to find them gone .
The other counters were really grateful to Jeok Bong’s special power as the evil spirits are avoiding the territory as they can see it. They are glad that they could make use of Jeok Bong’s powers to trace the evil spirits. So Mun admires Jeok Bong’s innocence. Mo Tak feels inferior with his powers in front of other Counters. Ma Ok finds Mo Tak training furiously and asks about it. He thinks that it’s the right time to quit the counters as he feels like he couldn’t be of much help to others and feels discouraged. An evil spirit is attacking a fuel bunk employee and the trio’s evil spirit joins him. They kill the person and take the evil spirit with them. Jeok Bong is flaunting his newly identified skills while Mo Tak feels more discouraged. Han Na puts him in his place.
Jeok Bong smells evil spirits and drives them to a long distance to trace them. However everyone gets disappointed as he couldn’t use it right and took them to the wrong place. However Han Na senses two evil spirits from two different places. She finds a first degree evil spirit in the museum while a third degree spirit in reeds. They send Jang Mul and Ma Ok to the museum to lesser evil spirits while they all leave to reeds . So Mun understands that Jeok Bong wants to say something but is scared after messing up. So Mun encourages him to say and Jeok Bong says that he finds the evil stench more in the museum than in the reeds. In the museum, Ma Ok and Jang Mul realise that Hwang and Wang tricked them with a lesser evil spirit. Jang Mul gets badly thrashed by Wang and Ma Ok tries helping him. They both were brutally hurt. So Mun wonders what if the evil spirits avoided territory and tried calling Hang Mul but couldn’t reach them. Hwang tries to kill Hang Mul using Ma Ok but So Mun reaches on time and saves them. He gets into a direct fight with Hwang.
