Sony TV’s popular show Kaamna currently focuses on Akanksha and Manav fighting for Yadhu’s custody while Vaibhav helped Akanksha to avenge Manav.
In the previous week we have witnessed, Manav got disturbed as he recalled Akanksha and Vaibhav’s words. Yadhu called upset Manav and gave him strength to fight against evil saying that God was with them. Manav got new courage with his words and asked Kaushal to drive to Vaibhav’s office. He barged into Vaibhav’s office and slapped him in front of his employees and also punched him hard for trying to separate him from his son.
He warned Vaibhav and insulted him in front of his employees and left the place. Kaushal cheered for him. He advised Manav to follow Lawyer’s words and accuse Akanksha back but Manav refused saying that he would only follow the path of right as he believed it. Vaibhav swore to make Manav’s life hell. He came home and Sakshi informed him about Yadhu’s fasting.
Manav made pizza and made Yadhu have it saying that it’s offering to God. Akanksha got Kaushal’s video message about Manav slapping Vaibhav and wanted to use it against Manav in court. Vaibhav warned her to not use his reputation for her own benefit. He made a plan to trap Manav and sent Rane for the sane. Yadhu asked Manav about his injury and Manav told that he fought a devil. Sakshi reminded him that he need to find a lawyer for the court case the next day.
Manav got shocked seeing Mr. Shenoy outside his door. Ayesha introduced Shenoy as her family friend whom she Brough ro help Manav with the custody case. Yadhu was doubtful of him as he’s blind. Manav discussed with Shenoy about the case and asked how could he help as he heard that his licence was cancelled. Shenoy suggested Manav to fight his own case while he would help him. Manav doesn’t want to take risk and Shenoy left angrily with Ayesha.
Manav consulted with various lawyers for the case but none were willing to help him upon knowing that Meera was opposing lawyer. Manav got frustrated. On the other hand, Vaibhav asked Rane to keep the money bag a little far from Manav’s House and when Akanksha asked about it he didn’t reveal. Babli pleaded Akanksha to help Karan out from jail but Akanksha shut her saying that she don’t have time as she was busy with Yadhu’s case. Babli understood that it’s waste to trust Akanksha anymore and decided to take things in her hand. Yadhu suggested Manav to fight the case as he believed no one could fight it better than Manav. Sakshi also agreed with him.
He visited Mr. Shenoy and Shenoy asked him to spend his night there as he had much to learn. Manav learnt from Sakshi that their neighbour Ekta was meeting with Rane and Shenoy suspected about it. Manav spent the night at Shenoy’s place and prepared for the case.
Next day, Manav made things ready for court when Sakshi and Yadhu gave him pooja plate and wished him all the best. Manav thanked them and left for court.
The session started and everyone mocked Manav as he said he was there to fight his own case. Judge gave him permission upon a condition that he must follow the guidelines of the court. The session started and Meera presented Akanksha’s statement. Akanksha accused Manav for being a drunkard, womaniser, make chauvinist and abuser which was why she ran away from home.
Manav refused to question Akanksha. Meera then presented Vaibhav in witness box who also accused Manav for being an inferiority complex minded person who abused his beautiful wife. Mana refused to question Vaibhav too. Meera then presented Ekta’s statement in court. Ekta acknowledged Akanksha’s accusations that Manav was a abusive husband and Akanksha had a terrible life with him. She also added that after throwing Akanksha out he forced a new lady in Yadhu’s life.
She pleaded Judge to give Yadhu’s custody to Akanksha for his better upbringing. Shenoy came there and Manav wanted to cross question Ekta. Manav cross questioned Ekta and submitted photo proofs of Akanksha paying Ekta to be fake witness. Ekta got scared and blurted out of ye truth in court. Kaushal and Leena tricked Akanksha lying thar they would be on her side in court but take a 180 turn in witness box.
Leena gave statement in favour of Manav and pleaded Judge to give the custody to him. Manav then presented Maya Xavier in witness box who exposed Vaibhav’s plan of trapping Akanksha from the start and Akanksha falling for it out of her greediness. Akanksha’s mother too gave statement against Akanksha. Manav cross questioned Akanksha and confirmed with her that the wounds on her body were because of his abuse. Manav played the real footage where Vaibhav abused Akanksha for the hearing in court.
It was revealed that Manav already helped Babli by filing bail for Karan in court. On the other hand, Shenoy asked Babli to stay at Vaibhav’s house and collect witnesses. It was Babli who video recorded Vaibhav’s abuse as well as captured Ekta getting money. Manav wanted to show the real video of Akanksha seducing him too but Akanksha pleaded him not to present it.
Manav didn’t reveal it to protect Akanksha’s dignity. Meera played Yadhu’s statement which was taken by fake lawyer panel. Manav accused Meera for forgery and Judge summoned for an investigation for the same. He also agreed to send the original lawyer panel to take Yadhu’s statement, Vaibhav and Meera argue with each other out of the court. Akanksha was left alone on road by Vaibhav while Manav taunted her.
While Sakshi was busy on call with Manav, Vaibhav threatened Yadhu with a gunshot call to kill Manav. Yadhu was traumatised. Vaibhav was about to catch Babli but escaped as she followed Mr. Shenoy’s idea. Manav brought the lawyer panel from court but Yadhu ran away scared.
In the future episodes we will witness, Judge will ask for Yadhu’s statement for him to decide about to whom he needs to give the custody. Yadhu will say that he has written an essay for his mother and wants to read it out.
