Kaamna” deals with the life of Akanksha who is a home maker of a cute family and her husband Manav a rightful person. Things started getting difficult when rich evil Vaibhav had his eyes on Akanksha. The show currently focuses on Vaibhav’s efforts to get closer to Akanksha separating her from Manav. This week Manav found out Vaibhav’s real intentions behind his fake smile.
In the previous week we have witnessed, Akanksha lost her another project upon knowing that Vaibhav pulled back her ad. Akanksha was really upset seeing the history repeating again and got scared for her career. Manav tried cheering Akanksha but in vain. Akanksha called Vaibhav after lots of hesitation and pleaded him to not pull back the ad. Vaibhav blamed Manav for the mess and decided to discuss with Manav directly. Next day, Vaibhav visited Manav and sweet talked with him and to to lure him. He lied that he never knew Akanksha was the model and his behaviour with Maya as the reason for pulling back the ad. He came up with a solution for Manav to let Akanksha work in his company’s projects. Vaibhav proposed a deal with Manav who said that he would give his answer after giving it a thought. Akanksha struggled to answer contractor for unable to pay the payment. She said the same to Manav and said the pros that her added income would help them financially. She also explained how she always wanted to shine in popularity and said its her happiness. Their friends Ansh and Rhea also asked Manav the deal. On the other hand, Yadhu came back home and exclaimed his happiness about Akanksha’s popularity. Manav after a lots of thinking agreed to let Akanksha work in Manav’s company ads making her happy. He called Vaibhav and informed him the same. Vaibhav got happy and invited them for dinner. Manav agreed and Vaibhav made arrangements for the same. Manav and Akanksha visited Vaibhav’s house for dinner with Yadhu. Vaibhav greeted them and formed friendship with Manav. He praised Akanksha’s popularity and lured Yadhu with his luxury. He shared about his wife and cheered Akanksha for her career.
At the dining table, Vaibhav fumed when Manav shared his love story with Akanksha while Yadharth spotted Akanksha’s painting in Vaibhav’s room. Before leaving they clicked selfies together and Vaibhav gave them gifts before leaving. Vaibhav gifted the same earring which Manav returned to him along with a necklace as a friendly gift to Akanksha. Vaibhav admired Akanksha when she wore it while Manav caught Vaibhav’s evil gaze. He suspected Vaibhav for having bad intentions towards Akanksha. His suspicion got even more confirmed when Yadhu said about sporting Akanksha’s portrait in Vaibhav’s bedroom. Manav shared about his gut feeling to Akanksha who rubbished it off. Manav tried making her understand that everything was Vaibhav’s plot to trap her but Akanksha doesn’t agree with him and instead blamed him back. Vaibhav learnt that Manav started doubting him and decided to reach his goal using his power. Akanksha and Manav had clashes as Manav suspected Vaibhav for eyeing Akanksha. His suspicion deepened when Yadhu told Akanksha that he found the same earring in the portrait in Vaibhav’s bedroom which she never wore for photo shoot. Akanksha got a call from Maya to visit Vaibhav for a new project. Manav got mocked in his office for being friends with Vaibhav despite saying that he hated him. Pathan’s men visited Manav and took him to Pathan who demanded to pay the loan within two days backing his own words. Manav was frustrated and Ansh suggested him to get Vaibhav’s help. Manav said about Vaibhav’s intention to Ansh and wondered what to do. Akanksha visited Vaibhav’s office who gave her the role of his wife Niharika in a music play. He paid her 15 lakh and Akanksha asked the reason for choosing her. Vaibhav shocked Akanksha by confessing his love to her shocking her.
In the future episodes we will witness, Vaibhav will lie that he was just testing her whether she too had same thoughts about him like her husband. Akanksha will come home with the cheque while Manav will restrict Akanksha to work with Vaibhav angering her.
