The episode starts with Vennila getting happy on seeing Soumiya. She asks if everything is fine as she has come in the night. Soumiya says that she can come to meet her sister at any time. Vennila ssks if she has come. Soumiya assures her that she has come alone. She apologizes on the behalf of her husband. She says that Madhavan was shouting at home that he didn’t like her working and she doesn’t understand why he’s bothered. Vennila says that Madhavan wants her to be dependented on her, but she will never take his help. Soumya shares about the astrologer’s prediction about Vennila’s future. Vennila says that no one can stop her from reaching her goal. Soumiya says that it will be a good answer to those, who want to see her failure. Soumiya asks Vennila if she had dinner. Vennila lies that she had food, but Soumiya catches her lie. Vennila admits that she didn’t have dinner and explains the reason. Soumiya says that she felt restlessness and brought Doda for her. Vennila gets emotional and says that she is starving and she is missing their mother. Soumiya makes Vennila sit and feeds her the food. They have an emotional talk.
The next day Madhavan visits Vennila’s office and tells the manager to dismiss Vennila from the job as her family doesn’t like her working. The manager refuses to dismiss Vennila without any proper reason. Madhavan start arguing with him. Vennila comes to the office and gets shocked on seeing this. Thecmanager asks Vennila if he knows Madhavan. Vennila says that he’s her brother-in-law. The manager says that he’s creating scene asking to dismiss her. Vennila gets shocked. She scolds Madhavan and says that he has no rights to prevent her from working. Madhavan says that he gave shelter for Vennila when she ran away from her marriage. He demands Vennila to come with him. Vennila refuses and tells to stop harassing her. The manager supports Vennila and tells Madhavan to leave. However Madhavan starts shouting and throws the things. The manager tells the staff to catch Madhavan. They staff catch him and make him sit on a corner. The manager says that he will teach a lesson to Madhavan by calling police. Vennila pleads with the manager to leave Madhavan as it will affect her sister. The manganese says that Madhavan should get punished and tells Vennila to leave after completing her work.
Mahadevan phones Saradha to know how she’s doing. They have a friendly talk. Saradha asks about Vennila and tells him to care of her. Her mother has took the astrologer advice and worries about Vennila’s study. Mahadevan assures her that he will. He says that Vennila can manage alone and tells that she’s started working. Saradha says that she knows that Surya helped Vennila to find a job. Mahadevan notices Surya and Vishwa coming and hangs the call up. Vishwa asks who was on the call. Mahadevan says that he’s friend.
Soumiya is waiting for Madhavan to return home. She tells her in-laws that Madhavan opposes Vennila doing a job. She requests them to make Madhavan understand that this job is important for Vennila to study. Her in laws scold her.
Mahadevan notices Vennila coming. He falls her out. He asks from where she’s coming in the late night. Surya says that she must be coming from the work. Vennila nods yes. Mahadevan finds Vennila upset and questions her about the same. Vennila hesitates to answer.
