The episode starts with Mohan saying to himself that he should tell Katha about the groom’s identity. Katha arrives there. She tells Mohan that because of Eshwar’s help during Naina’s marriage time, he can’t reject Eshwar’s proposal for her. She agrees to marry. Mohan questions her sacrifices, to which Katha says it’s nothing compared to the sacrifices they both made to give her a good life. Naina gets upset with herself. Mohan says to himself it’s an injustice to Katha for forcing her to marry a guy. Katha says to Mohan that she has no interest in knowing the groom’s identity. She then ignores her family members. Vandana tries to change her decision but fails. Mohan gets upset. He then informs Eshwar that Katha has agreed for the marriage. Eshwar gets happy.
Later, Katha gets ready to go for college. Vandana asks her not to leave the house alone because her marriage gets fixed. She also requests Katha to choose her bridal clothes. Katha firmly refuses, saying she has no interest in all this. Naina arrives there and insists on accompanying Katha to the college. She goes inside. Mohan arrives there, but Katha avoids him. Mohan gets determined to reveal the groom’s identity to Katha at any cost. Vandana notices Mohan, so she goes to him. They both have a discussion about Katha’s decision and their helpless situation. Mohan says to Vandana that Katha is distancing herself from him. Katha hears their conversation. She asks Vandana to take Mohan inside to rest. Vandana tries to lift up Katha’s mood, but the latter breaks down. Mohan comforts her.
At Jindal’s house, Eshwar calls both Rukmini and Nathu Lal. He asks Nathu Lal to bring all the elders in the family immediately to his room. Nathu Lal agrees then leaves. Rukmini asks Eshwar about his unusual happiness. Eshwar happily tells her UV’s bride has agreed for this marriage. But he refuses to reveal the bride’s identity to Rukmini. Rukmini gets upset with Eshwar. The entire family members arrive there. Eshwar tells Harshvardan that the latter is UV’s father, so he is going to tell him first that UV’s marriage is going to take place soon. Harshvardan reminds him about his failed marriage, though he married Eshwar’s choice of girl. But Eshwar confidently says to him nothing such won’t happen again.
Eshwar gives wedding arrangements responsibilities to his sons and daughter in-laws. But he refuses to reveal the bride’s identity to them. Ambika gets upset. Vinith also cautions Ambika after Eshwar informs the family members about him inviting their relatives for UV’s marriage. After they all leave the room, Eshwar stops Rukmini, who vents out her frustration with him about his lack of trust in her. Eshwar reveals to her that he chose Katha for UV. Rukmini gets happy. But she gets worried that both Katha and UV are totally different, so the possibility of UV and Katha’s bonding. But Eshwar confidently tells her that Katha will change UV for sure. He also tells Rukmini it’s Katha who helped UV come out of the prison. Also, she is the reason behind UV’s café is locked now. Rukmini gets shocked. UV enters and questions Eshwar for using Katha’s name. Eshwar becomes speechless.
Precap: Katha has an emotional conversation with her mother’s photo. Mohan gets determined to reveal Katha about the groom’s identity, so he puts UV’s photo in Katha’s book. The photo falls on a plant pot, which Katha takes it and looks shocked.
