Earlier today, TvN announced that Kang Tae Oh and Lee Sun Bin are confirmed to star as leads in the upcoming drama “Potato Research Institute.”

The upcoming drama “Potato Research Institute” is a new romantic comedy set against the backdrop of a rural potato research institute.

Actor Kang Tae Oh who has impressed the viewers in the drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, will take on the role of So Baek Ho, a charming and merciless capitalist who cares for nothing but making profits. One day, So Baek Ho visits the potato research institute located in a mountain valley and starts bickering with the institute’s assistant manager Kim Mi Kyung. “Potato Research Institute ” is the first project after the actor’s military discharge, and hence anticipation is high for this drama.

Actress Lee Sun Bin will play the role of Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher who is crazy about potatoes. Kim Mi Kyung has an easygoing personality with 12 years of work experience. She enjoys her simple and peaceful daily life in the rural area until So Baek Ho appears in the institute and stirs her life up.
