The episode starts with Karthik asking Mounitha to tell him what does she want to say. Mounitha says she took a decision as she knows that Karthik will not be hers even after Deepa dies. Karthik asks Mounitha what does she want to say? Mounitha says there is a chance for Deepa to be alive. Karthik asks Mounitha how is that possible? Karthik reminds Mounitha that for Deepa to be alive they need to do a heart transplant. Mounitha comments on it. Karthik tries to leave. Mounitha stops Karthik and asks him to sit down. Mounitha says to Karthik that she is going to give her heart to Deepa. Karthik gets shocked to hear Mounitha’s decision. Mounitha says her heart will always be beating for him.
Mounitha says to Karthik that she loves him and reminds him of what she did for him. Karthik asks Mounitha to stop her drama and says he will never believe that she will give her heart away for Deepa. Karthik says to Mounitha that she will only make decisions with selfishness. Mounitha says there is selfishness in this decision and there is only one wish for her and i.e to marry him. Mounitha asks Karthik to marry her and says he can do anything after that. Karthik still doesn’t believe Mounitha scolds her and leaves from there.
Deepa offers coffee to Hema Chandra. Hema Chandra asks Deepa if she told the truth to Soundarya and others. Deepa says she wants to tell the truth but she doesn’t have the courage to say it. Soundarya asks Hema Chandra how is he? He says he is fine. Deepa says to Soundarya that Hema Chandra is the one who saved her after the accident and says they well received her. Soundarya understands that Hema Chandra lied to her when she asked about Karthik and Deepa. Soundarya asks Hema Chandra if he knows the reason for why Karthik and Deepa didn’t come to them till now. Hema Chandra says he doesn’t know. Soundarya asks Hema Chandra if he is telling the truth? While they are talking Karthik comes and joins them. Soundarya says to Karthik that there is no need for him to act and says Deepa said that they already know about Hema Chandra. Soundarya tries to get information out of them but she doesn’t get anything.
Hima and Sourya ask Soundarya for old chairs and other wood items. Soundarya asks why do they need these items? They say they need it for Bhogi. Karthik tries to stop them but Soundarya stops him and allows them to do Bhogi.
Hima and Sourya ask Deepa to do some cooking. Chandramma says she will do it. Soundarya praises Deepa’s cooking and says she will do it. Hima and Sourya ask Deepa to cook for them. Hima and Sourya ask how does she used to celebrate Pongal? Deepa explains to them how does she celebrate Pongal and shares a few memories with them. While they are talking Karthik calls Deepa. Deepa goes to Karthik.
Hema Chandra encourages Karthik to tell the truth about Deepa’s health to his family and says it is better to make them prepared.

Precap – Deepa says to Karthik that she wants to live and asks Karthik if there is even a small possibility for her to live. Mounitha says to Karthik that she is ready to die for him. Mounitha says he just needs to say yes and he can change Deepa’s heart within an hour and save her. While all of Karthik’s family celebrate Bhogi fire. Mounitha pours water over the fire and ruins their celebration.
