Ssharad Malhotra, who essays the lead actor Raunak in the show ‘Musakaan’, is going to celebrate his first Karva Chauth this time with his wife Ripci. Ssharad says, “This is my wife Ripci first Karvachauth, so I want it to be very special for her. To celebrate this Karva Chauth I will have taken leave from the shoot of Musakaan and will be going to my hometown Calcutta where Ripci can observe this fast with my whole family. My mother will ensure she gives sargi at dawn so that Ripci can start her fast well. I wish that both of us should always be together like this.”
Actor Abhishek Sharma, who plays Mintu Singh in the show ‘Nimki Vidhayak’ says that as a TV actor, we get very little time to spend with our family. But this year is something special, since this is our first Karva Chauth I will try to get home soon after finishing the shoot of Nimki and spend time with her. I am planning to keep fast for my wife Apeksha Dandekar as she is a foodie and her keeping a fast for me means a lot and I can’t leave my wife hungry all day. That is why I am planning to keep this fast myself and I wish to open the fast together and stay with one another forever.
Reena Kapoor, who essays the role of Krishn’s mother Yashoda in the show ‘RadhaKrishna’, says “This Karva Chauth is very special for me. After my 14 years of marriage, I am going to celebrate my Karva Chauth with my whole family this time. During this time my mother in law will be with me for the first time. My brothers, my sisters, my mother, my niece all will be with me during this period. My niece’s birthday is also on this day, so this is going to be a very special moment for me. My only wish is to always be with my whole family.”
Vijayendra Kumeria shares “I wake up before dawn with my wife Preeti to accompany her for sargi. Since I cannot take a day off I have requested an early pack up from the shoot of my show Sufiyana Pyaar Mera. So, that I can help her with the rituals and Puja when the moon appears. This Karva Chauth I decided to cook dinner for my wife as she will be fasting for my well-being. We celebrated our first Karva Chauth when we were dating. Preeti kept a fast for me and only revealed it to me at night when she told me to pick her up for dinner. I was surprised and overwhelmed by her kind gesture.”
