The episode begins with the lawyer of Mr. Bajaj calls Sharda in the witness box to give a light in the case against Veena Sharma. Prerna signs her to give correct statements and help her to release her mother. Sharda behaves like she is the helpless person out there. She goes in the witness box when the lawyer comes to her and asks her to give a brief to the court about Veena and Rishabh’s relation. She flips in the box and says Veena and Rishabh shares a very toxic equation. the winner is not in talking terms with Mr. Bajaj and due to this, her relationship with her daughter has also become bitter lately.
Sharda further says Veena tells on my face that she hates Rishabh and she is not happy with the fact that Prerna chooses to marry Rishabh. Prerna is getting shocked to see Sharda is giving such statements which will go straight away against her mother. The lawyer started to ask Sharda that on that day of function did winner purposefully tried to harm Mr. Bajaj? hard disk liking for her son in law has gone to such a state that she can do anything to harm him?
Sharda gets confused and out of panic, she says yes, Prerna stands up in between the court hearing and shares that her mother is not at fault and Sharda is giving statements and the pressure of lawyer. Judge of the court asks Prerna to sit down and let the proceedings going on. The defending lawyer of Veena refuses to counter-question Sharda. A flashback was shown where Sharda is bribing the lawyer of Prerna so that he can lose the cade.
Anupam informs Anurag who is stuck in traffic that the defense lawyer of Veena seems like fighting to lose the case. Anurag gets surprised and asks Anupam to contact Malkhani uncle as he knows what to do. Anurag tries hard to get out of the traffic jam but he is unable to do so.
In the court, Sharda is happy to see her plan is succeeding. The lawyer of Mr. Bajaj conference Sharda and ask about her feelings for Mr. Bajaj? Veena remembers all the events that took place in the recent past. She remembers how Mr. Bajaj caused so many greaves and problems to Anurag and his family. She firmly announced if she hates someone so much in this entire universe then it is none other than Mr. Bajaj. The charge of the court is about to declare his judgment after Veena’s statement.
At the same time, Mr. Bajaj appears in the court and asked the judge to allow him to put his side of the story. he comes in the witness box and declares that Veena is not at all guilty for whatever happened in the party. He says that liking or disliking him is her personal choice, we all have that liberty to choose for ourselves whom to like ok but that doesn’t conclude that we are seeking to kill that person if we don’t like them. Judge of the code understand Mr. Bajaj perspective and he declares Veena as innocent. Prerna and the entire Sharma family gets happy, Bajaj comes down from the witness box and feels dizzy. Prerna comes to him and holds him when Anurag reaches there and witness the sight. He feels heartbroken and left the court premises. Anurag is working on the streets in the blank state of mind. He feels cheated and betrayed by Prerna but he is not able to forget her.
