The episode starts with Mahapurohit blessing Nanasaheb and Baji holds him in his arms. Mahapurohit applies tilak on Nanashaheb’s forehead and Baji says he will become greater Peshwa than him. Kashi gets happy to see them. Surya informs Kashi that one of the attackers of Mastani got caught as he fainted in forest. Kashi goes to see the attacker and tells Surya to make sure that he doesn’t die. He has to recover and then she will talk to him first. Surya obeys her.
Kaveri asks Radha that Kashi took the responsibility of Mastani’s safety but will Mastani change her attitude? Radha says Mastani feels proud as Baji is in love with her. She is the princess of Bundelkhand but she is nothing but a mistress in Puna. Thus they can humiliate her. Radha decides to organise haldi kumkum ritual and tells Rakma to invite Mastani to perform the ritual. Radha says she will show Mastani her real place.
Matang gives an advice to Mastani that she has to give birth to her own child in order to get accepted by Baji’s family. Kashi flaunts her son in front of her and Mastani should also give heir to Peshwa family in order to get the honor. Baji notices Kashi that she is tasting the food Mastani is going to eat. Kashi sends food for her and Baji asks why she tasted the food. Kashi says she is just trying to protect Mastani and since she has enemies so there can be poison in her food. Kashi gives water to Baji and he thanks her for taking care of Mastani.
Kashi says she is doing it for her son as Nana needs Baji’s love. Baji says now he is worried for Kashi as she might end up getting into trouble while saving Mastani. Kashi says that won’t happen as Puna people won’t do anything which can hurt her. Baji says but once it’s revealed who attacked Mastani, everything will be solved. Kashi tells him to not think about that matter, she will handle it. Kashi gets worried thinking how will Baji react when he will learn Mastani attacked herself by calling her own soldiers. But she can’t hide that for long from Baji.
Baji discusses work with Surya and Mastani enters. Surya gives them privacy and Mastani says Baji should not forget her. Baji pulls her closer saying he will not upset her as he already cancelled one plan. She says she wants to spend the night with him and he agrees to romance with her. Rakma invites Mastani for the ritual saying they now want to accept her finally and Matang says there’s something wrong as these people won’t accept Mastani that easily. Mastani says they might want to accept her to stop Baji from leaving the wada. Matang says there must be a different reason. Mastani says she wants to attend the ritual as she is invited.
Kashi makes all the preparations for the ritual and Mastani joins the ladies in Marathi attire. They start criticising her and name calling her that she is not married then how can she participate in this ritual which is for married women only. Mastani says she is married to Baji according to Bundelkhand’s custom. She married his sword. The ladies make fun of her saying then she should start living with his sword only.
Radha says maybe in Bundelkhand this custom works but not here. Kashi tells the ladies to not become insensitive towards Mastani. She says to Mastani that Baji is not Rajput so this marriage is not acceptable here. Mastani gets heartbroken and leaves crying. Matang tells her to focus on having a baby with Bajirao then everything will be better. Mastani says everyone calls her illicit here so her child will also get that tag only which she doesn’t want.
Baji waits for Mastani in the room at night and Matang rushes to him to inform about Mastani’s disturbed condition. She left the wada at night. Matang tells Baji to find Mastani immediately. Kashi asks Radha why she played a game against Mastani again? This will again anger Bajirao and he can leave the wada. Radha says she didn’t harm Mastani and fulfilled the promise but she taught her a good lesson. Radha tells Kashi that she is Baji’s wife and he won’t leave her. Kashi says she has one fear, that should not come true after this incident.

The episode starts with Kashi doing the puja with Baji. Mahapurohit praises Baji for sitting for puja with Kashi. He says Baji didn’t forget to fulfil his duties. Radha says Kashi and Baji both are aware of their duties and their efforts will be enough to save their respect. Baji got distracted but he knows how to handle his responsibilities. Mastani says Radha is clearly calling her as distraction. Radha tells Kashi and Baji to marry each other again. Baji thinks he has no problem with exchanging garlands with Kashi but Mastani will be hurt. He thinks she is not around so he can marry Kashi. He remarries Kashi and Radha tells him to tie mangalsutra around her neck.
Mastani feels jealous and says Baji should have given her this importance instead of marrying Kashi. But nothing is happening as per her wish. She left everything to come here with Baji, she is also his wife but noone cares for her. Kashi says to Baji that she felt he is still that old Rao for her. Baji says he will never give Kashi’s place to anyone. Mastani can’t take that anymore and she leaves saying Baji will never love her only as long as Kashi is with him.
Baji unties the wedding knot saying he has to go now. Chima asks him to stop but Baji leaves to meet Mastani. Mastani prepares to leave but he calls Kashi and says Kashi took the responsibility of Mastani’s safety. Thus they don’t have to leave the wada even for some days. He trusts Kashi a lot. Kashi agrees to protect Mastani and Baji leaves saying he can be with Nanashaheb now. Mastani recalls how Kashi said Baji wont stay away from his family for even few days. Kashi tells Mastani that Baji has chosen them both so he won’t be partial. It would be better if Mastani accepts this truth like a mature person. Mastani says she won’t lose to Kashi and she will fight back.
