The episode starts with Kashi looking at her son that he has fallen asleep due to medicine effect. Kashi welcomes Bihu and the latter looks delighted. Bihu chit chats with Kashi and there Bajirao looks for Kashi to tell her everything about Mastani and her wish to be present during the naming ceremony. Bihu shares that she has come with full preparations and she knows what name will be given to the baby. Kashi thinks hope Baji convinces her to choose the name she selected for her son.
Baji learns that Kashi was going with Bihu. Bihu hugs her brother and he greets her. Bihu says from the time Kashi has taught lesson her husband, he never mistreats her. Baji recalls how he talked about loyalty in a marriage. He further requests Bihu to give the same name to the boy which Kashi chose. He whispers the name in her ears. She says before that she wants a promise from him that he will always make Kashi happy and will never make her upset. Baji says they are normal husband and wife so such misunderstandings are common between them. But he promises one thing that Kashi’s place in his life will remain the same and he is incomplete without her. Bihu gets ready to give the chosen name for the baby. Baji thinks now the ceremony is about to start and he can’t take Mastani here now. He decides to apologise to her for that. He leaves to meet her.
Priest tells Kashi that she can’t perform the puja alone without her husband. It’s about his child so he should be here. Radha says mothers give birth to their children so mothers have the equal right to perform this puja. Radha tells Kashi to sit for the puja without Baji. Surya informs Baji has left for some work. Radha says he might be busy as he has other responsibilities too. Kashi feels alone as despite his presence she can’t feel that he is there for her. Matang tells Mastani that Baji never keeps his promises and he will not come today. Mastani says but she will make sure he doesn’t have to break his promises. She decides to go to Shaniwad Wada. Baji learns from Matang that she left for Shaniwad wada in disguise of a maid. Matang cries and tells Baji not to make fake promises which he can’t fulfil.
Baji gets worried for Mastani thinking if Kashi sees her she will be in trouble. After the puja priest asks why Baji is not back yet. Mastani enters the wada and looks at Kashi. She says Matang was wrong about Kashi as she looks so calm and composed. Baji comes back finally to perform the other rituals. His eyes searches for Mastani. Kashi asks him where he is lost? He ignores the question and there Mastani says she knows he wants to see her only. Radha asks Surya what happened to Baji. He replies maybe Baji is thinking about Mastani. Radha replies if Mastani is present here then she will cut off her head.
Baji is asked to hold his baby in his arms and name him. He reveals the name which is Balaji Rao. Radha says he should mention Kashi’s name and his name both as the child’s parents. He takes the names and is about to utter Mastani’s name too recalling she is his son’s second mother. Mastani looks at him eagerly and Baji sees her in the crowd. Kashi gets confused thinking where he is looking at.
