The wait is finally over! SBS upcoming fantasy rom com “My Demon” starring Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang is all set to hit the small screen!
On October 11, SBS new fantasy drama “My Demon” has confirmed its premiere date, and will be broadcasted on SBS every Friday and Saturday.
“My Demon” is a fantasy rom-com that tells the story of demon-like Chaebolheiress Do Do Hee (Kim Yoo Jung) and the demon Jung Gu Won (Song Kang), who loses his powers one day, as they enter a contractual marriage.
The beautiful and talented actress Kim Yoo Jung will be playing the role of Do Do Hee, the heiress to Mirae Group who doesn’t trust anyone. Do Do Hee learned the ways of the world early on and became cold. Cynical of love, she makes a contract with demon Jung Gu Won and experiences a change beyond one’s imagination. As someone who is constantly surrounded by enemies all around her, it will be interesting to find out whether the demon that appears in front of her will be her savior (The term ‘Gu Won’ also meaning “savior” in Korea) or a destroyer.
The handsome hunk and emerging actor Song Kang will showcase his acting skills by donning the new avatar of demon Jung Gu Won, who has lived his eternal life making dangerous yet convincing deals with humans whose current lives are hell by holding their souls as collateral. Gu Won continued his reign for 200 years considering humans to be insignificant, until one day he loses his powers when he unexpectedly becomes intertwined with the cold and cynical Do Do Hee. In order not to vanish, Gu Won has no choice but to protect Do Do Hee who robbed him of his abilities.
