“Kinshuk Mahajan Bids Farewell to Megha Barsenge: A Year of Triumph and New Horizons”

By Anil Merani: Talent powerhouse Kinshuk Mahajan has exclusively confirmed to us that the Colors TV show “Megha Barsenge” will conclude on June 29th. He also informed us that the shoot will soon wrap up.

Despite the end of “Megha Barsenge,” a show that ran for over a year, Kinshuk, a seasoned actor, maintains a positive outlook. He views the show’s successful run as a significant achievement in today’s fast-paced entertainment industry. He mentioned that the recent time slot change (from 7 PM to 6:30 PM) may have influenced the decision to take the show off the air; however, he believes the story and character development had reached their limit.

Kinshuk thoroughly enjoyed working with his co-stars, Neil Bhatt and Neha Ran. The trio collaborated closely, allowing each other ample space, and they plan to continue their friendship long after the show’s conclusion, which is a rarity in the television industry.

Additionally, Kinshuk pointed out that Neil, like him, takes time to open up, often leading to the misconception that he is reserved. He acknowledged Neil’s support, particularly during action scenes.

Buoyed by the success of “Megha Barsenge,” Kinshuk is eager to explore a variety of roles. He is no longer confined to the ‘good guy’ image, as seen in his portrayal of Lord Ram in “Pandya Store,” and is excited to embrace any character that comes his way.

Looking ahead, Kinshuk expresses his openness to interesting concepts and does not restrict himself to any particular genre. He is grateful to producer Saurabh Tewary for giving his character the space to evolve and appreciates the show’s unique shooting style.

Regarding the transition from television to OTT platforms, Kinshuk admits that top-tier OTT productions often exclude TV actors, but he believes that this trend will shift over time, and his opportunity will come. Despite this, he is pleased with the evolving quality of content on television.

While Kinshuk has created successful fictional series like “Bidaai,” “Chand Chupa Badal Mein,” and “Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka,” he isn’t a fan of non-fiction content like “Bigg Boss,” which often thrives on negativity. However, he does not rule out participating in such shows entirely.

In closing, Kinshuk attributes his longevity in the industry to his outlook on life and expresses a desire to share love through his work.
