By Anil Merani| There might be good news for Karan Singh Grover (KSG) fans; their fav hero might finally return to the small screen. As per the buzz, he might have been sounded out by well-known tv producer Rashmi Sharma for her upcoming tv show loosely based on the super hit Kannada movie KGF. We are still determining on which channel the above show will come.
The rumour mills reported that TV actors Siddharth Arora( Baal Shiv – Mahadev Ki Andekhi Gatha. ) might and Jigysa Singh( Thapki Pyaar Ki) might play the lead. Siddharth says,” the contract is still not inked.” So this means casting is still open
It makes sense for KSG has the macho personality to carry off Yash’s role.
KSG’s last outing was the web show Qubool Hai 2. (Zee 5). His previous tv outing was Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, where he played the iconic character of Rishabh Bajaj.
KSG earned name and fame courtesy of shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Qubool Hai, Zara Nachke Dikha, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 etc
Rashmi is a past master at tv, so we can hope she will make a good show which might help catapult KSG back to his heydays. He has been out of circulation lately, and his fandom has been silent.
This news might reactivate them, and they will get back on SM with old gusto.
KSG could not milk it much on the big screen. He has done a couple of other web projects (Dangerous and Boss)
