The episode begins with Karan telling Shaurya that he can throw Shaurya out of the house for what Shaurya did today. Shaurya tells Karan that his existence has nothing to do with the latter. Karan says Shaurya is nothing without a surname, and Shaurya exists because of him. Shaurya says he is a free man and he doesn’t belong to this family. He adds he doesn’t care even if Karan throws him out of the house. Karan asks Shaurya to not forget the latter has nothing but this house.
Preeta tells Karan to stay silent for a minute. She asks Shaurya to accept he mixed the chemical in Palki’s haldi. She says it’s Shaurya who exchanged Palki’s haldi. Everyone gets shocked hearing this. Shaurya tells Preeta to stop talking nonsense. He asks her whether she saw him doing all that. Preeta says she saw everything. Shaurya asks what all this is. Meera asks, What about emotional hurt?” Shanaya says everyone hurts others at least once emotionally. Meera says she is sure Rajveer never hurt Palki emotionally. Shanaya recalls how Rajveer took care of Palki always. She says now she understands everything.
Meera says Shaurya is doing time pass with Shanaya, and he wants to marry a girl like Palki. Shanaya asks Meera to stop all these assumptions. Meera says Shaurya doesn’t want to marry Shanaya. She asks Shanaya whether Shaurya ever talked about the breakup. Shanaya recalls how Shaurya suggested breaking up. Meera says Shanaya’s silence confirms she is right. And says Shanaya just doesn’t want to accept the truth. Shanaya cries.
Shukwinder comes there and asks why Shanaya is crying. Shanaya cries, hugging Shukwinder. Shukwinder assumes that Shanaya is crying because Palki’s hand got burnt and asks Shanaya to not cry. Shanaya says Meera is right. She tells Shukwinder that Shaurya doesn’t love her. She says Shaurya loves Palki.
