The episode starts with Bharti talking about the 90’s and the superstars of that time who ruled the film world. One by one she tells stories about the superstars and their movies from Govinda to Sharukh Khan and Salman Khan. Then one by one the contestants enter the set dressing up like the superstars and their characters in the film. They act like some film characters and entertain everyone.
Suddenly everyone notices that Sudeshji is not here. Niya says this has become his regular habit but he wants him. Bharti says that someone special will be coming to be Niya’s partner today. Then comes 90’s superstar Rahul Roy with his guitar. Everyone greets him and hugs him. They all tell him that they are big fans of him. When Bharti tells him that he is here to assist Niya today, he gets very annoyed and says no. He then throws his guitar in the ground being very angry. He leaves the set and Niya says this is not fair. Everyone teases Niya and Krishna says that if she had been a manglik then even a tree would have rejected her. After this Bharti brings Rahul Roy to the set. Niya is asked to join her hands and tell him that she is a big fan of hers when the set door opens and Rahul Vaidya comes in.
Rahul Vaidya is welcomed by all the contestants. Bharti says he has come specially for Niya and is going to assist Niya. Rahul Roy praises Niya and apologises to her saying he was just joking and doing as he was asked to. Krishna says whatever he did was really the best thing he ever did, making everyone laugh. Paaji shows a photo to everyone and says they would be making Flower Karanji today. He explains the criteria and the challenge begins.
The contestants look puzzled and wonder how to cook it. All of them struggle but try their best to meet the desired criteria. Ankita starts dancing around like a lunatic while singing on her own. Vickey says that this woman has gone mad and the doctor has said there’s no hope anymore. After sometime Teja and Ankita both dance and sing together. They also dance with Rahul Roy who poses as their Chandelier. After tasting the dish, Paaji declares Vickey and Ankita the winners of this episode.
Paaji asks the contestants to cook tawa paneer bhurji for the next challenge of the day. He explains the criteria while Bharti sends the contestants for the market run. Paaji adds the twist in the recipe saying they have to make the paneer themselves. Stories about Rahul Roy and his film era are heard. He says once he signed 47 films in one day. Krishna says that he used to have 300 girlfriends. Bharti says that today the Bachchan family is going to come to taste their food and welcomes the Bachhan family. The Bachhan’s introduce themselves. Bharti says that a new show featuring the Bachhan family is coming on Colors. After tasting the dish on each station, Paaji says that everyone has worked hard for sure but no one could meet his expectations so he won’t give any stars today. Episode ends.

The 90s special episode of Laughter Chef began with Bharti celebrating iconic Bollywood stars, while contestants dressed as famous film characters and entertained everyone with hilarious performances. The highlight was the arrival of 90s superstar Rahul Roy, who initially pretended to reject being Nia Sharma’s partner before revealing it was a prank. Singer Rahul Vaidya also joined the fun. In the first cooking challenge, contestants prepared Flower Karanji, with Ankita and Vicky emerging as winners. The second challenge involved making tawa paneer bhurji with homemade paneer. Despite their efforts, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi awarded no stars, concluding the episode.
