Lee Jong Won Confirmed to Star In New Historical Drama With Honey Lee

Actor Lee Jong Won is confirmed to star as the male lead in the new upcoming historical drama “Flower That Blooms At Night” set in Joseon dynasty.

Earlier today, media sources confirmed that actor Lee Jong Won who had impressed the audience with his role in MBC drama “Golden Spoon” is confirmed to be starring alongside actress Honey Lee in the new MBC drama “Flower That Blooms At Night “

The upcoming drama, is a comedy historical drama that depicts the double life of a widow.Previously on February 21,actress Honey Lee is confirmed to play the female lead Jo Yeo Hwa a widow who is a humble daughter in law during the day and  becomes a masked woman to help out people in need at night.The drama is the newest project by the producer director Jang Tae Yoo who has given hit dramas like “My Love From The Star” , “Tree With Deep Roots “ and “Lovers Of The Red Sky”.

Actor Lee Jong Won will play the role of a geumwiyoung  officer (one of the five military camps in Joseon Dynasty),Park Soo Ho.Intelligent and with excellent martial art skills,Park Soo Ho’s life changes drastically after he gets caught up in an unexpected incident after encountering the masked widown Jo Yeo Hwa ( Honey Lee).Expectations are high for actor Lee Jong Won ,who bagged the ‘Rookie Of The Year Award’ at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards.
