In a recent episode we see Jasmin lashing out at Shankarapaandi for not planning anything properly. Sakkarai signals the goon to stab Muthupechi. Maari saves Muthupechi, but the goon stabs Maari mistakenly.
Surya takes Maari to the hospital. The villagers catch the goon and confront him. He reveals to everyone that Sakkarai employed him to kill her. The inspector arrested Sakkarai from there. Later, Maari gains consciousness. She reveals to Muthupechi that Durga is her nephew. Muthupechi learnt that Raasathi was dead.
In the upcoming episode viewers will see; Muthupechi will invite Maari to attend the Thiruvizha. She will take responsibility of Durga. Durga asks Maari to keep in touch with her often. Later, Maari will return home.
Surya feels guilty for not giving the happiness to Maari which she deserved. Devi will request Maari to celebrate Jagdish’s birthday. Sreeja will overheard their conversation and inform Jasmin about it. Jasmin will contact Thara and reveal everything to her.
