The episode starts with Sona saying to Maitree that Gangajal will be impure if Maitree touches it. Sona calls Kamna a home breaker. She insults her husband and calls Kamna a mistress. Kamna says I consider you as my sister and how can you humiliate me in this way. Sona says she deserves it. Maitree asks Sona to stop and says she selected this match herself. Maitree says to Sona she has no right to insult her father in law and Mother in law like this. Maitree says to Sona she is saying this not as Maitree Mishra but she is saying this as their daughter in law.
Sona reminds Maitree that she is marrying a son of a mistress and says that society will look down on her because of it. Harsh asks Sona to stop and says he can’t listen to anything against his mother and wife. He asks Sona to leave. Sona doesn’t listen. Ashish comes there and hugs Sona. Sona points to Madan and cries. Ashish says Maitree is married to Harsh so she is related to them so don’t create any scene and we don’t have any relationship with them. Nandini comments on it. Ashish says to her that he will talk to her once they return home. He asks Sona to come home. Sona says she won’t listen to anyone and contents her husband about his deeds.
Sona says to Madan that she won’t divorce him so Kamna will be her mistress and her son will be illegitimate. Kamna requests Sona to stop and requests her to bless the new couple. Sona denies and says she will never allow them in her house. Ashish says to Sona that Harsh and his family will leave for Banaras after marriage and they won’t come to Triveni Sangam so let’s leave. He takes Sona from there forcefully. Harsh comforts Kamna.
Ashish brings Sona home. He asks why she created a scene at Maitree’s house. Sona asks if he doesn’t care about his pain. Ashish says she and his family are first to him and that’s why he didn’t even attend Maitree’s marriage. Sona asks why he didn’t tell her that Maitree is getting married to her husband’s illegitimate son. Om and Kusum get shocked and ask if it’s true. Sona says she may never know the truth if Nandini didn’t reveal it to her. Ashish says I don’t want you to get hurt that’s why I hid it. Sona feels dizzy. Nandini and others support Sona.
Nandini says Maitree is selfish and if she really cares for Sona then she may inform the truth to Sona but Maitree is selfish. She comments on Maitree’s values. Ashish slaps Nandini. He confronts why she informed the truth to Sona. He says you’re jealous of Maitree from the start and he warns her to stay within the limit and gives her a final warning. Nandini is taken aback. He leaves. Sona supports Nandini.
Maitree sees Harsh is worried. She says to him everything gets settled with time. Harsh says Sona called me illegitimate and insulted my mother. They hear some sound and go out. Kamna tries to burn herself with a fire log without listening to anyone.
