The episode starts with Kusum noticing that the box packing is not done properly, so she decides to do it herself. Adit stops her. Kusum asks Adit why he looks so stressed and whether everything is alright. Adit apologises to Kusum and says that he is worried the dispatch might be delayed.
Kusum receives a call informing her that Gayatri has fallen sick. She says she has to leave. Adit tells Kusum that he will walk her to the car.
Mangal opens the box and discovers that it contains fake currency. She takes a picture of it. Adit comes to Mangal and asks if they can leave, and she agrees.
Adit and Mangal give their presentation to Jairaj. Jairaj tells Mangal that she has become more efficient under Adit’s supervision. He then tells Adit that he is ready to invest in their company and says they will discuss the financials. Jairaj asks Mangal to bring tea, and she agrees and leaves.
Jairaj gives money to Adit, who thanks him. Mangal brings the tea. Jairaj drinks it and realises that she has added mirchi (chili) to it. Adit takes the money and leaves.
Jairaj drinks water and tells Mangal that he was pretending to be his old self so Adit wouldn’t suspect them. Mangal says she was also acting like her old self for the same reason. They laugh together. Mangal thanks Jairaj for allowing her to enter Pehla Swaad and comments on it.
Adit tells Sowmya over the phone that he has received the money. He then hands the money over to Aarav.
Mangal notices Aarav placing the money in the car. She creates a distraction and later swaps the suitcase without Aarav noticing.
Mangal calls Ishana and says she wants to make things right for her and Aarav. Ishana asks how, and Mangal explains her plan.
Mangal sees that Adit has left and wonders where Jairaj is. Jairaj arrives on a bike and takes her along to chase Adit’s car.
Aarav gives the money to Sowmya. When Sowmya checks it, she realises that all the currency is fake. She calls Adit and informs him. Adit says he is on his way.
Ishana recalls Mangal saying she wants to make things right and that she has prepared breakfast for her and Aarav. Ishana goes to the location and asks the security guard where the interview is taking place. The guard tells her that it is a marriage hall and no interviews are happening there. Ishana calls Aarav, who lies that he is in an interview and cuts the call. Ishana realises he lied and feels upset.
Meanwhile, Jairaj and Mangal accidentally hit Adit’s car. Adit gets out and scolds them but does not recognise them since they are wearing helmets. He then leaves.
Adit reaches Sowmya. She scolds him for accepting fake currency from Jairaj. Adit insists that he checked the money and it was real. Sowmya becomes suspicious of Aarav and asks him about it. Aarav says he did not touch the money. They argue, and Sowmya tells Adit that she does not trust Aarav and does not want him involved in their next mission, CR Papa. Aarav insists that he will participate.
Adit stops the argument and says he trusts Aarav. He adds that they need to stay united to find a solution. Mangal and Jairaj observe everything through binoculars and listen using a microchip. Mangal realises their plan has failed, as they could not separate Adit’s team. Jairaj comments on it.
Aarav returns home, where Ishana confronts him about lying. Mangal witnesses the confrontation.
