The episode starts with Pratima angrily removing her jewellery. Kapil approaches her and says it might break. Pratima replies, “My heart is broken, and you’re worried about this necklace?” She hands it to him and tells him to keep it. Kapil asks why she is upset with him and what he has done. He offers her water, but Pratima tells him to stop pretending. She questions why he never told her that Mangal was married and had children, even after finding out. She says, “If you had told me earlier, the shock would have been less. Why did you hide it?”
Kapil apologizes and explains that he only found out later when Mangal was talking to Adit, and by then, she was already divorced. He adds, “I told you many times that we’re just colleagues, and Mangal never gave you any hope.” Pratima asks if he ever had any hope. Kapil says he’s sorry for not telling her about Mangal earlier. Pratima accuses him of trying to erase his own past, as he was also married once, just like Mangal. Kapil hugs her.
Meanwhile, Ananya is searching for documents in Adit’s drawer. Mangal walks in and confronts her for checking Adit’s belongings in his absence. Ananya apologizes and is about to explain when some women approach Mangal. They thank her for giving them work and mention that since they’re from the same place, they come and leave together, which ensures their safety. This gives Ananya an idea.
She calls Sowmya and tells her she has a plan to get Adit fired. When Sowmya asks what the plan is, Ananya tells her to trust her and says she’ll execute it herself. Sowmya reminds her they are partners and warns her not to double-cross her. Ananya assures her that she won’t reveal her name anywhere.
Later, Mangal delegates some work to Adit. He decides to stay calm and focus on the task. He begins working. Mangal later asks if he needs help with packing, but Adit says he can manage. Mangal leaves. Adit decides to take a break and have some tea. While he is away, Ananya enters the office, disables the CCTV, pours water on the boxes, and spoils them.
When Adit returns, he is stressed to find the packages ruined and realizes he’ll have to redo everything. Ananya pretends to walk in and offers to help. Adit refuses at first but eventually asks her to get prints of the Pehla Swad logo. Ananya says all the printers are off and offers to use Mangal’s printer instead. She leaves and texts Sowmya. Sowmya calls Adit and asks if he’s coming home. He says he’ll be late. Sowmya agrees and thinks Ananya sounds confident, so the plan might work.
Meanwhile, Mangal realizes she forgot her phone and asks Kapil to send her back to the office. Ananya disables another CCTV camera by applying nail polish on it. Mangal arrives at the office. Adit tells her some boxes were damaged and asks if he can use her printer. Mangal asks how they got spoiled and whether they’ll be ready by morning. Adit assures her they will.
Mangal enters her room to collect her phone. Ananya, hiding under a table, feels panicked and fears losing her job if caught. Mangal gets a call from Kapil and tells him she found her phone and is coming back. Before leaving, she asks Adit again if he’ll manage by morning. He confirms.
After she leaves, Adit confronts Ananya for printing only one copy out of twenty. Ananya says it’s peon work, so it’s taking time. Adit tells her he’ll handle it and asks her to move aside. Ananya tries to flirt and asks if they can go out for dinner after work. Adit firmly tells her to either focus on work or go home, reminding her that he is her senior. Ananya thinks to herself, “Goodbye, Adit sir. You’ll be fired tomorrow.”
The next day, Adit arrives at the office and notices a tense atmosphere. He asks Mangal what’s going on and why everyone looks serious. One of the women points to Ananya, who is sitting on the sofa, crying. Adit approaches her, but she recoils in fear. He asks why she is scared of him.
Kapil intervenes and says, “You did something wrong, and now you’re pretending you don’t know why she’s scared?” Adit, confused, asks what he did. Ananya accuses him of trying to molest her the previous night. Adit is shocked.
