The episode begins with Lakshmi on a call with Mangal, asking if she is okay. Mangal happily replies that she is fine and shares the good news that Adit has recovered and can now walk on his own. She excitedly says they can celebrate Holi together the next day — Lakshmi’s first Holi with Karthik after marriage. Mangal mentions she is preparing laddoos for them and asks them to come early. Lakshmi tries to explain that she might not be able to come, but Kusum calls Mangal. Mangal quickly tells Lakshmi they will talk tomorrow and ends the call.
Meanwhile, Karthik asks Jia to start the Holika Dahan ritual, saying he will only begin once she arrives. When Jia finally joins, Karthik notices she isn’t wearing the saree he gifted her. She casually says she didn’t have a matching blouse, leaving Karthik disappointed. Gayatri encourages them to start the pooja, and they begin the prayers. Lakshmi silently prays to God, asking for Karthik to regain his memory.
As they leave, Nidhi accidentally knocks over a dustbin. Lakshmi notices Karthik’s gifted saree discarded inside. Realizing Jia’s true nature, Lakshmi decides to expose her. She intentionally spills juice on Karthik, prompting him to change his clothes and throw tissues in the dustbin — where he finds the saree. Upset, Karthik confronts Jia, asking why she threw it away. Jia dismisses the saree as old-fashioned, saying she didn’t like it. Hurt, Karthik tells Jia she broke his heart with her actions and refuses to talk to her, walking away.
Gayatri, confused by Jia’s behavior, receives a call from Kusum inviting her, Lakshmi, and the family to join their Holi celebrations. Gayatri feels uneasy but agrees to come.
The next day, Mangal joyfully plays Holi with the children, pouring color on Adit. Sowmya expects Adit to scold Mangal, but he surprises her by applying color to Mangal’s face instead. The children cheer, and Adit wishes Mangal a happy Holi, to which she happily responds. Adit continues playing Holi with Mangal, and Kusum and Sudesh feel overjoyed watching them.
Gayatri and her family arrive at the Holi celebration. She happily greets Kusum, and everyone starts enjoying the festivities. Mangal spots Lakshmi from behind and excitedly tries to apply color to her, but she stops, noticing Lakshmi’s changed appearance. Concerned, she asks Karthik about Lakshmi, but he says he doesn’t know. Gayatri pulls Mangal aside and lies, saying Lakshmi is unwell and couldn’t come. Mangal reluctantly accepts this and leaves.
Worried, Mangal calls Lakshmi to check on her. Meanwhile, Sowmya tells Adit that their lawyer said his divorce from Mangal will be finalized soon, and they can officially be together. She urges him to fill her hair parting with Holi color to make the festival special, but Adit refuses. He says he wants to give his relationship with Mangal another chance for the sake of his family. Taking the color, he fills Mangal’s hair parting, leaving everyone emotional. Adit apologizes to Mangal and asks for forgiveness, promising to rebuild their relationship. Mangal agrees, and they embrace. Suddenly, Sowmya snaps out of her daydream, looking shocked. Adit notices her reaction and warns her not to bring up divorce during the celebration. Furious, Sowmya vows never to let Mangal and Adit reunite.
Determined to ruin Mangal’s Holi, Sowmya tries to push her into a pool of colored water, but Lakshmi intervenes, causing Sowmya to fall in instead. When Sowmya emerges, she realizes her skin color has changed. Ishana teases Sowmya, saying she looks like an alien, and Akshat jokes that he added an alien color for his friends. Embarrassed, Sowmya tries to leave.
Meanwhile, Jia meets Sowmya and mocks her failure to win over Adit. She smugly says, “I feel sorry for you. You’re failing to get Adit completely, and I’ve already succeeded in removing Lakshmi from Karthik’s life.” Gayatri quickly stops Mangal from seeing Jia.
Later, Lakshmi finally answers Mangal’s call. Concerned, Mangal says she’s coming to meet her, but Lakshmi tries to stop her. In the background, Mangal sees Devi and hears Lakshmi say, “Didi.” Mangal, confused, asks who Lakshmi called Didi.
