The episode begins with Shanti deciding to confront Mangal and make her understand her mistake at office. She arrives at the office and asks the receptionist about Mangal’s cabin. The receptionist informs her that Mangal has been working from home lately. Just then, Pratima arrives and greets Shanti. Shanti tells her that she came to meet Mangal but found out she’s working remotely. Pratima responds with concern, saying, “I care for Mangal, which is why I’m telling you this—she’s divorced, so why send her back to a house where she’s not respected? It’s not easy for her to live around her ex-husband and Sowmya.” She insists that Mangal doesn’t deserve this emotional torture and urges Shanti to help Mangal understand. Shanti looks on, deeply affected.
Meanwhile, Adit helps Mangal onto the sofa and scolds her for being careless, asking if she’s blind. Shanti arrives and intervenes, saying, “Yes, my daughter is blind—that’s why she didn’t see your affair with Sowmya. That’s why she’s still taking care of your parents.” Adit accuses Shanti of creating a scene. Shanti rebukes him, but Mangal intervenes and asks her mother to stop. Adit warns Mangal to control her mother or else he won’t spare her. Shanti urges Mangal to open her eyes and see how Adit is misbehaving despite her care for his family. Adit retorts, saying he no longer has any relationship with Shanti, so there’s no reason to be respectful, and storms off. He goes to Sowmya and complains about the scene Shanti created, saying she has no ties with him but keeps interfering.
Shanti later massages Mangal’s feet, trying to convince her not to waste her life. She asks why Mangal isn’t going to the office. Mangal explains she’s working from home due to Sudesh’s health. Shanti argues that Adit can take care of his father and reminds Mangal about Kapil, who is handling the company alone. Meanwhile, Sowmya tells Adit that she’ll take care of Sudesh’s medicine since Mangal is injured. Adit agrees but says it’s better if she stays away from Sudesh, or he may start questioning her, and tells her to let Mangal continue looking after him. Sowmya is disappointed.
Mangal tells Shanti that Kapil allowed her to work from home. Shanti pleads with her not to sacrifice her life for Adit and his family. Mangal responds that she’s happy staying with her children and asks her mother not to worry. Shanti suspects Sowmya might’ve intentionally caused Mangal’s fall, but Mangal brushes it off and says she’s more focused on the strange design Sudesh drew, which may be related to the culprit. Frustrated, Shanti leaves. Mangal heads off to check on Sudesh.
As Shanti prepares to leave, she accidentally drops a file and the papers scatter. She silently vows to take Mangal away from the Saxena house. Sowmya overhears this and smirks, thinking to herself that she wants the same. Akshat returns home and greets Shanti, asking when she arrived. She replies she just came and is now leaving. He questions why she’s leaving so suddenly, and Shanti replies that Mangal is sending her away. She advises Akshat to always support Mangal. Akshat promises he will.
After Shanti leaves, Akshat notices Sudesh’s drawings scattered on the floor. He picks them up, intending to return them to Sudesh. Sowmya stops him and asks what’s in the file. Akshat replies that they’re Sudesh’s drawings. Sowmya offers to give them to Sudesh and sends Akshat away.
Sowmya inspects the drawings and realizes Sudesh had seen her tattoo when she pushed him. Fearing the truth will come out, she decides to destroy the evidence. She goes into the kitchen, burns the drawings, and tries to flush the ashes down the sink. Mangal walks in and spots her.
Mangal asks Sowmya what she’s doing in the kitchen and questions the smoke. Sowmya lies, saying she was warding off the evil eye by burning chilies. She curtly reminds Mangal that she has no right to question her and leaves after ensuring the ashes are disposed of.
