The episode begins with Worker Kamala informing Sowmya that Mangal has come to meet her. Sowmya is shocked to hear Mangal’s name. Kamala goes to call Mangal inside, but Mangal refuses and wonders why Kusum and Ishana aren’t outside. Inside, Kusum hears some noise and senses someone has arrived. She tries to go out but realizes the door is locked from the outside. Kusum then speaks to Sudesh’s photo.
Kamala tells Sowmya that Mangal is not coming inside and asks her to call her in. Just then, the Saxenas’ nameplate is about to fall, but Mangal catches it. Sowmya arrives and takes the nameplate from her, questioning why she came. Mangal replies that she wants to speak to Adit. Sowmya says Adit hates the sight of her and insists that Mangal talk to her instead, claiming Adit doesn’t hide anything from her.
Mangal asks Sowmya to question Adit about why he sent Akshat to boarding school. Sowmya retorts that it’s their family matter and tells Mangal to stay out of it. Mangal says she only wants permission to meet Akshat and requests that Adit inform the school authorities to allow her to meet her son. Sowmya firmly refuses. Mangal says they can’t separate a child from his mother. Sowmya declares herself as Akshat’s mother since Adit married her and shows her mangalsutra. Mangal tells her to stop flaunting something she gave away as alms. She says she’s here only for Kusum and her kids and has no interest in talking to Sowmya. She then leaves. Sowmya angrily shuts the main door and thinks Mangal will definitely try to call Adit, so she decides to call him first. She gets busy and starts feeling tense.
Meanwhile, Adit receives a call from Kapil’s company, confirming the time for his meeting. He feels happy and decides to share the good news with Sowmya. Just then, he receives a call from an unknown number. It’s Mangal. She questions him about sending Akshat to the hostel and blames him for putting the child through trauma. Adit asks where she had been all this while and blames her for Akshat’s condition, warning her to stay away from his children. Mangal says she’s glad she at least got to meet her son on his birthday and that she has realized how Adit doesn’t even have time for Akshat. She requests permission to meet the kids, but Adit tells her they don’t need her and orders her not to interfere in their lives. Mangal pleads for one meeting to discuss the kids, but Adit refuses and disconnects the call.
Adit returns home and shares sweets with Sowmya, telling her he received good news. When she asks what it is, he tells her he got a call from Jaipur investor Kapil. Adit is about to meet Kusum but sees the door locked from outside and questions why. Sowmya says Kamala might have done it. Adit goes in to meet Kusum.
Meanwhile, Sowmya checks Adit’s phone and sees that he spoke to Mangal. She blocks Mangal’s number and feels upset that Adit spoke to her for 10 minutes without informing her.
Kusum shows Adit a sweater she’s knitting for his father. Elsewhere, Mangal visits Kapil’s house. Kapil tries to talk to her, but Mangal, lost in thought, stumbles. Kapil helps her and checks if she’s okay. Back at home, Adit hugs Kusum and tells her to rest. He thinks about how Mangal ruined their lives and resolves never to let her back in again.
