The episode begins with Adit telling Mangal that she cannot understand his pain because it is his parents who are suffering, not hers. Mangal breaks down in tears. Meanwhile, Sowmya recalls how she manipulated the evidence after seeing messages on Mangal’s phone from Prakash, an electronics dealer, while Mangal was busy cooking.
Mangal confronts Adit, asking how he can say that his parents are not hers. Adit turns away. Sowmya comments that Adit does not even like talking to Mangal. Mangal responds that Adit is refusing to see the truth. Frustrated, Adit leaves, and Sowmya follows him.
Mangal prays to Maata Rani, expressing her pain over Adit’s words—that she is not part of his family and that his parents are not hers. She weeps, struggling to comprehend his statement. Meanwhile, Sowmya pretends to be concerned in front of Adit. Falling for her act, Adit hugs her. Sowmya takes advantage of his vulnerable state.
While cleaning the room, Mangal accidentally knocks over their wedding photo, causing the frame to break. Meanwhile, Adit apologizes to Sowmya for Mangal’s behavior, acknowledging that she is enduring a lot because of him. Sowmya assures him that he does not need to apologize, claiming she can do anything for him. She then asks him to sign the divorce papers for his own well-being. When he hesitates, she insists, saying that if he had signed earlier, these problems would not have escalated. She urges him to at least sign them now. Mangal feels heartbroken as she looks at the shattered frame of their wedding photo.
Sowmya continues manipulating Adit, saying that neither Kusum nor their children will ever forgive Mangal. She questions whether Adit himself could forgive his father’s murderer. She urges him to sign the divorce papers to protect his family. Giving in, Adit signs. At the same time, Mangal injures herself while picking up the broken glass pieces. Sowmya, pleased with her scheme, declares that Mangal will soon sign the papers, officially ending her remaining ties with Adit.
Later, Sowmya places a garland on Sudesh’s photo. Shocked, Mangal asks her what she is doing. Sowmya claims that she has organized a Shanti Pooja for Sudesh’s soul. Mangal objects, saying it is not the right time for such a ritual. Sowmya dismisses her concerns, prompting Mangal to warn that this will traumatize Kusum. Sowmya blames Mangal for Kusum’s distress and prevents her from removing the garland, stating that the Shanti Paath was arranged with Adit’s approval. Mangal insists she will speak to Adit. However, Sowmya taunts her, saying that she has lost the right to question him or interfere in family matters.
Sowmya then hands Mangal the divorce papers, already signed by Adit, and coldly tells her to leave his life. She warns Mangal to stop calling herself “Mangal Saxena” and declares that she can no longer stay in the house now that Adit has divorced her. Stunned, Mangal stares at Adit’s signature in disbelief. Sowmya smirks and adds that Adit does not even want to see her face, so she should sign the papers as soon as possible. With that, she walks away. Mangal recalls her moments in the house and how Adit betrayed her.
