The episode starts with Mangal sharing the good news with Shubhi that they have found a new office and that the rent is within their budget. Mangal tells Shubhi that they should go and see it.
Adit stops Mangal and tells her that she will not go anywhere. He asks her if she has no shame, as she is planning to set up tents at weddings. Mangal tells Adit that he has no right to stop her. She reminds him that he no longer has any relationship with her. Mangal adds that the only opinion she cares about is Kusum’s.
Mangal asks Kusum if she has any problem with her new business venture. Kusum tells Mangal that she has previously run a food-related business and was very good at it. She advises Mangal to be careful in her new venture and asks if she still wants to go ahead. Adit questions Kusum, asking what she is doing and why she is supporting Mangal instead of stopping her. Kusum tells Adit not to tell her what to do and reminds him that he left them, while Mangal is the one who earned the mansion, cars, and everything they have. Kusum assures Mangal that she will always support her. Mangal thanks Kusum and leaves with Shubhi, while Ishana witnesses everything.
Mangal, Shubhi, and Shanti visit the new office. Shanti remarks that the office needs a lot of cleaning. Mangal gives some money as an advance to the owner and explains that she currently has only that amount, promising to pay the rest later.
The owner tells Mangal that he trusts her because she is the owner of Pehla Swaad and praises her brand before leaving.
Mangal, Shubhi, and Shanti clean the office and make all the necessary arrangements. Mangal and Shubhi get ready to open their new office.
A Mata Rani procession arrives near Mangal and Shubhi. The women in the procession greet Mangal and ask her to apply Mata Rani’s sindoor to her mangalsutra as a blessing. Ishana also arrives there. Mangal apologizes and tells the women that she and her husband are separated. On hearing this, the women begin to gossip about her. Mangal clarifies that her husband cheated on her with another woman, which is why she left him. Ishana comments on Mangal, pointing out that she is against her daughter’s marriage even though Aarav has not cheated on Ishana.
The women argue with Mangal and say that there must be something wrong with her, which is why her husband left her. They declare that they will not allow her to run a wedding planning business, as she is a divorcee and does not understand the meaning of marriage. Mangal argues back, saying that they have no right to stop her from running her business, and criticizes their mindset.
Later, Mangal stops Ishana as she is about to leave and asks why she hates her so much. Mangal tells her that she may not like her work, but she has no right to interfere. Ishana leaves. Adit witnesses everything from his car.
Adit later approaches Mangal and tells her that society will not allow her to move forward. Mangal responds firmly, saying she is not going against society and that he has no right to stop her. Adit leaves.
Ishana’s friend Ragini arrives and introduces herself, along with her fiancé Ranveer. Ragini tells Mangal that they met just two days ago and want to get married by the next day. Mangal asks if they are rushing things. Ragini says they have been talking for six months. Ragini’s mother places money on the table and requests Mangal to handle the wedding arrangements. Mangal agrees and shows them design options. Ranveer notices his parents greedily looking at the money and distracts them, asking them to focus on the designs.
Later, Mangal notices that Ranveer has forgotten his phone. She goes outside and overhears him scolding his “parents,” revealing that he had hired them to pretend and that they became greedy after seeing the money. Ranveer pays them and sends them away. Mangal then approaches Ranveer.
The episode ends.
