The episode starts with Kapil telling Adit that he’ll invest in his business idea, but only if Adit agrees to let Mangal meet her kids. Adit questions why Kapil is mixing personal matters with business. Kapil responds, “You were the one who did it first, so now take a quick decision. I just want a mother to meet her children—what’s your problem?” Adit replies that Kapil wouldn’t understand, and it’s complicated. Kapil reminds him that he’s not the first businessman Adit has approached, and no one else was willing to invest. He tells Adit to accept the deal, resolve his financial issues, and arrange his mother’s surgery. He gives Adit 15 minutes to decide.
Meanwhile, Mangal feeds food to Akshat. Akshat pleads with her not to leave him alone, saying even his dad doesn’t come to visit him at the hostel. He feels unloved by Adit. Mangal comforts him, saying his father does love him, but perhaps circumstances are not in his favor. Akshat apologizes for not going with her earlier when she asked. She hugs him and says, “You are our life. We just want you to be happy.”
Back to Adit, he struggles with the decision. Kapil reminds him it’s his choice and says he has a meeting to attend, giving him 15 minutes to respond before leaving. Just then, Sowmya calls Adit to ask if he managed to secure the investment. Adit snaps at her. He then notices Mangal and Akshat together and walks toward them. Akshat, seeing Adit, tells Mangal that he doesn’t know when they’ll meet again and isn’t sure if Adit will allow them to meet. Mangal consoles him. When Adit tries to take Akshat away, Akshat resists and cries. Kapil, watching from a distance, signals to Adit that time is running out.
Elsewhere, Sowmya tells her friend on a call that she bought a stylish mangalsutra for Akshaya Tritiya because she deserves it. She ends the call when she sees Kusum. As she shows Kusum the mangalsutra and attempts to wear it, it breaks. She notices that the initials “S” and “A” (for Sowmya and Adit) have separated. Kusum remarks that it’s an inauspicious sign and could indicate trouble in their relationship. Sowmya brushes it off, saying nothing will happen to their bond.
Later, Akshat tells Adit that he wants to stay with Mangal. Mangal reassures him that they can still meet. Adit, moved, tells Akshat not to cry and permits him to meet Mangal whenever he wants. Akshat is overjoyed and hugs his mother. Adit then steps aside and calls Kapil, agreeing to the deal. Kapil informs him he can start working in the office from the next day, under Mangal’s supervision. Adit is surprised but Kapil explains that since Mangal recently started her business, she’s in a good position to guide him. He adds that he hopes their collaboration will succeed. Adit agrees, feeling like he has no other option. Kapil watches through the window as Mangal happily embraces her son.
Akshat begs Adit to bring Mangal home. Adit agrees, and Akshat excitedly asks Mangal to get in the car. Mangal gently tells Akshat to get in first and promises to follow. Adit tells Mangal that he’s doing this for Akshat’s happiness and asks her to sit in the car. The three leave together in Adit’s car as Kapil watches.
At home, Adit starts worrying that Sowmya will create a scene if Mangal enters the house. He recalls that he agreed to Kapil’s condition. As Mangal reaches the doorstep, she hesitates, remembering how Sowmya introduced herself as “Mrs. Adit Saxena.” Mangal tells Akshat she’ll meet him tomorrow as she has work at the office. Akshat cries and pleads with her to stay. Mangal tries to convince him to understand, and Adit supports her decision.
