The episode starts with Mangal handing over Ranveer and his fake parents to the police.
The police put Ranveer and his gang in jail. The inspector informs Jayaraj that they caught Ranveer and his gang because of Mangal Saxena. Jayaraj is surprised to hear this.
Ragini and Radha thank Mangal for saving them from being deceived. Mangal comforts Ragini and tells her that she should be happy she discovered the truth before the wedding. Ragini tells Mangal that she has lost trust in love. Mangal replies that love is not wrong and advises her to be careful about the person she chooses to love. She adds that sometimes even elders make mistakes and that marrying the wrong person can lead to a lot of suffering. Ragini tells Ishana that she is lucky to have a mother like Mangal. Ragini and Radha then leave.
Adit lashes out at Mangal and blames her for not inquiring about Ranveer earlier. He asks why she didn’t find out everything beforehand. Mangal says there was no time. Adit criticizes her further, saying that her business has now been ruined as well. Mangal responds that just because he insults her work, she will not doubt herself. She comments on Adit and leaves. Adit thinks about teaching Mangal a lesson.
Mangal asks Shubhi to leave, saying it is late. Shubhi agrees and leaves.
After finishing her work, Mangal steps out of her office and is abducted on the road.
Mangal regains consciousness and finds herself tied to a chair. She sees Jayaraj and assumes that he has abducted her. Noticing police officers behind him, she complains to them. However, when she sees the officers giving a coat to Jayaraj, she assumes he has bribed them. The police then untie Mangal and leave.
Mangal asks Jayaraj why he is after her. Jayaraj clarifies that he is ACP Jayaraj and shows his ID card as proof. Mangal still does not believe him and thinks it is a conspiracy against her. Jayaraj explains that he behaved harshly to test whether she would see herself as a victim or fight back as a strong woman. He says she has always performed beyond his expectations.
Jayaraj tells Mangal that he is planning to start a civilian operative unit and wants to recruit her. He explains that she would appear to be a normal middle-class woman but would secretly work for them. Mangal argues that she is just an ordinary mother living for her children. Jayaraj insists that she is not ordinary and praises her actions, such as saving Ragini by capturing Ranveer and his gang. He says the country needs her and asks her to think about his offer. Mangal leaves.
At home, Mangal runs into Adit, who accidentally spills coffee on his shirt. He lashes out at her and asks her to clean it. Mangal hands him Surf Excel and tells him to clean it himself before walking away.
Jayaraj and his team are then shown in a meeting. His team informs him that a counterfeit money gang is going to make a deal at a temple on Ram Navami. They say it would have been helpful to have an undercover agent like Mangal, but she rejected the offer. They ask if there is anyone else suitable for the job. Jayaraj responds that he wants Mangal for this mission.
The next day, Kusum comes to Mangal and asks her and her team to make arrangements for the pooja at the temple. After speaking with Kusum, Mangal agrees. She reflects to herself that this is her life.
