The episode begins with Sudesh falling off a cliff while trying to save Akshat. Sowmya’s men flee the scene after seeing Akshat lying unconscious on the road. Sowmya panics when she sees Sudesh climbing up from the valley, shouting for help.
Meanwhile, Kusum prays to Maata Rani for everyone’s safe return, promising to perform the evening aarti together. Suddenly, her black-beaded chain breaks.
Sowmya, without revealing her face, pretends to help Sudesh but deliberately lets go of his hand, causing him to fall off the cliff. At the same time, Kusum notices that her sindoor has spilled, and her black-beaded chain has broken.
Sowmya thinks Sudesh may have recognized her, so she decides to kill him. She then spots Akshat unconscious on the road and assumes he hasn’t seen her. However, unwilling to take risks, she drags him towards the valley.
Meanwhile, Mangal gets a bad feeling and begins chanting the Durga Stotram. A goon steals Sowmya’s car. Just then, Sowmya hears an approaching auto—Mangal is inside. Sowmya quickly hides. The auto briefly stops but resumes its journey. Failing to execute her plan due to the busy road, Sowmya waits for another opportunity to kill Akshat.
At home, Kusum tells Ishana she is worried about Sudesh. Ishana calls Adit, informing him that Sudesh, Akshat, and even Mangal are not answering their phones. Adit reassures her and promises to call Sudesh. However, when he dials, a passerby picks up, saying he found the phone on the road but there is no one around. Adit asks for the location.
Mangal returns home happily, calling out for Akshat and Sudesh. Kusum tells her that they had gone out for ice cream but are not responding to calls. Mangal remains optimistic, but Kusum shares the bad omens she witnessed earlier. Malishka reassures her that nothing bad will happen and begins fixing Kusum’s broken black-beaded chain.
Meanwhile, Sowmya starts digging a hole to bury Akshat. Adit arrives at the location and retrieves Sudesh’s phone. He starts searching for Sudesh and Akshat. Sensing danger, Sowmya hides.
Adit calls Mangal, but her phone rings nearby. Sowmya quickly hides with the phone.
