The episode begins with Mangal telling Kapil that she will try to make Ishana understand what’s right and wrong, and now that she’s back, she will protect her. Kapil praises her strength, saying that while some people are broken by pain, others like her turn it into power. He calls her a true fighter and says only she can truly care for her daughter. When Kapil starts sneezing, Mangal notices he’s drenched and takes him inside. Sowmya sees him and wonders who he is.
Kusum welcomes Kapil and asks about his sudden visit. Kapil says he came for Mangal’s urgent signature. Mangal hands him a towel. Kusum reminds him this is his home too and tells Mangal to give Adit’s clothes to Kapil. Kapil steps out wearing them. Kusum compliments how well Adit’s outfit suits him. Adit arrives and is surprised to see Kapil. He questions his presence. Kusum explains he came for urgent work. Adit fumes, asking why Kapil is wearing his clothes. Kapil gives him a sharp look. Mangal brings kadha for Kapil, who praises it. Adit reminds Kapil of his work. Kapil asks Mangal to verify the documents. She agrees and tells him to finish the kadha first. Sowmya observes it all.
Later, in their room, Adit vents his frustration to Sowmya, saying Kapil shows up as if it’s his house. Sowmya asks why someone else was sent for Mangal’s signature and not Adit himself. Adit replies that Kapil isn’t just any employee—he’s the owner, Kapil Bhatnagar. Sowmya sarcastically comments that Mangal seems to be trapping two men at once and asks what’s so special about her. Adit remains silent. Mangal overhears and walks in.
Mangal confronts Sowmya, saying her mindset is as cheap as her words. She warns her not to question her character and not to judge others by her own standards. Sowmya retorts that anyone can see the chemistry between Mangal and Kapil. Mangal firmly states they are just friends and business partners. When Sowmya asks if they’re “just friends” like her and Adit, Mangal replies sharply that their relationship is nothing like Sowmya’s—it is open and pure, while Sowmya and Adit kept theirs hidden because it was wrong. Just then, Kapil calls Mangal. Sowmya taunts her to talk “love talk.” Mangal says she doesn’t need to hide who she’s talking to—unlike Adit, who changed names to cover up his actions. She reminds them of how they betrayed her and says she won’t let it happen again.
Later, Mangal stops Akshat from playing, telling him she’s preparing puris. Akshat argues and, during the scuffle, Ishana’s headphones get broken. Ishana arrives, furious. Akshat blames Mangal. Ishana lashes out at her, accusing her of being controlling and selfish. She calls the headphones useless now and storms off. Even Akshat refuses to talk to Mangal.
While cooking, Mangal thinks of the harsh words and accidentally burns her hand. Adit sees this and rushes to help, applying ice. Sowmya watches with jealousy. She later goes to the bedroom and decides to teach Adit a lesson for feeling Mangal’s pain.
Adit comes to the room, surprised to see it filled with candles. He assumes Sowmya planned a surprise, but sees her pretending to sleep. He lies on the bed but finds it wet. Confused, he asks why. Sowmya wakes up and says she did it intentionally—to remind him how he helped Mangal when she was burned.
