The episode starts with Mangal noticing that Adit is not packing the zip lock bags properly. She tells him to pack them correctly. Adit thinks Mangal has forgotten that he was the one who introduced this method to her. He checks the time. Mangal tells him he can leave, and Adit agrees. While leaving, Adit thinks the packing is done and considers turning off the drying machine, but he accidentally switches it to high heat and leaves.
Mangal asks the remaining workers to leave, saying she’ll pack the remaining 2–3 packets. Kapil arrives with tea and thinks Adit is an escapist. He offers tea to Mangal. She drinks it and notices a strange smell. She walks towards the machine area. Adit returns to get his car keys. Just then, a blast occurs, injuring Mangal. Kapil carries her in his arms. Noticing his car is missing, he asks Adit to help take the unconscious Mangal to the hospital. Adit reluctantly agrees.
On the way, Adit realizes the blast happened because of his mistake. Sowmya keeps calling him continuously. Adit picks up the call and tells her he’ll talk to her later, then disconnects. Mangal wakes up in the hospital bed. Kapil scolds her for working alone. Mangal says she didn’t. Kapil replies that he saw her send Adit and the workers out. She feels pain. Kapil goes near her injured foot but stops himself. Mangal thanks him for helping her and teases him about his fear of germs. They smile. Adit watches them from outside and thinks, “I brought her to the hospital, but Kapil is taking the credit.”
Meanwhile, Sowmya grows suspicious and searches for Adit’s company online. She finds no results and thinks Adit is lying to her, just like he used to lie to Mangal.
A nurse checks on Mangal and asks if she is fine. Mangal says yes. Kapil asks the nurse to tell Mangal to rest at home. The nurse advises Mangal to take proper rest or risk infection. She goes to get the prescription. Kapil receives a call and steps out to attend it. Mangal thinks about the big order they received and tries to get up, but nearly falls. Adit catches her just in time. The nurse returns and tells Mangal not to put pressure on her feet. When she asks for Mangal’s details, Adit introduces himself as her husband. Mangal clarifies that they are divorced. Kapil returns and informs Mangal that her injury isn’t deep, and she can go home. He also says he’ll investigate the cause of the blast. Adit worries that if Kapil finds out the truth, he’ll be thrown out. Mangal tells Kapil that Pratima will be waiting for her, so they should investigate the incident tomorrow. Kapil agrees.
Adit returns home. Sowmya confronts him about coming home late and questions him about his company. Adit lies that she must have searched the wrong name. She also questions why he switched off his phone and cancelled their plan. Adit claims he was stuck in a meeting at his new job and tells her to stop doubting him. Sowmya notices a hair strand on him and asks whose it is. Adit lies that it might be hers. Sowmya says she knows he’s hiding something and vows to find out what it is.
The next day, Kapil questions the workers about the CCTV footage. One worker says it’s a new branch, and some rooms don’t have cameras installed yet. Kapil scolds them for their negligence. Adit thinks Kapil will destroy him if he finds out the truth.
