The episode begins with Pratima and everyone wishing Mangal a happy birthday. Mangal feels emotional and happy, while Adit decides not to wish her. One of the employees asks Mangal how she felt about the surprise. Mangal says she didn’t expect it and asks Pratima and Kapil why they planned it. Kapil replies that she is his business partner and deserves it. Mangal shares that it’s the first time she’s celebrating her birthday like this and thanks them for giving her so much love and respect. Pratima tells her that more surprises are on the way. Mangal, already touched, wonders what more is left. Pratima then hands her a gift, which Adit quietly observes from a distance.
Mangal initially refuses to accept the gift, but Pratima insists. Mangal appears confused. Meanwhile, Lipika asks her friend to take natural selfies of her. Madhu urges Lipika to wish Mangal first. Mangal notices them and happily approaches, saying she’s glad to see them. She asks who invited them. Lipika says Pratima Ji invited them, explaining that their mother couldn’t come, so she came instead. Mangal is surprised and asks Pratima how she knows about her family. Pratima replies that since Mangal sends money to them every month, she figured it out. Mangal thanks her. Pratima then asks Lipika why her mother didn’t attend. Lipika replies that Shanti had gone to Meerut for a wedding. At that moment, Kapil arrives and Mangal introduces him to Lipika. Pratima urges Mangal to open the gift, eager to see her reaction. As Mangal opens it, Adit watches from a distance. Lipika, observing Kapil, tells her friend that he seems like a good match for Mangal.
Mangal finds a watch inside the box and says she can’t accept it as it looks expensive. Kapil thinks about how his mother wanted to gift Mangal a bangle and feels nervous. Lipika encourages Mangal to accept it, and Pratima also insists. Kapil feels relieved. Lipika and her friend head to the buffet while Mangal quietly sends them off. Kapil thanks Pratima for not giving Mangal the bangle, and Pratima says she understands the situation. Mangal returns and tells Pratima that she really can’t accept the watch, as they’ve already gifted her a saree and thrown her a party. Kapil tells Pratima not to pressure her. Meanwhile, Adit decides to leave the party.
Lipika tells Madhu that Kapil is a wonderful man who respects Mangal, and she deserves a partner like him. She adds that Kapil is currently her business partner but could become her life partner too. Adit overhears this and thinks to himself, “Bloody gold digger.” Madhu warns Lipika to lower her voice, but Lipika continues, mocking Adit for being a middle-class man who didn’t even bring a gift while Kapil organized the whole party. Just then, someone spills juice on Adit. Lipika notices him and accuses him of trying to ruin her sister’s birthday. She threatens to teach him a lesson. Madhu stops her, and an employee clarifies that Adit is working under Mangal and came as any employee would to celebrate their boss’s birthday. Lipika says she wishes her mother were there to hear the news.
Another employee urges Adit to stay until the cake-cutting. Meanwhile, someone else comments to Mala that Mangal is receiving special attention and wonders if something is going on between her and Kapil. Adit overhears this too. Lipika orders food, and Adit tells her to order within limits. They argue. Lipika lashes out, saying he used to torment her sister for being uneducated, and now he’s working under her. She adds, “Get me an orange juice—for your boss’s sister!” Madhu tries to intervene, but Lipika keeps insulting Adit.
Mangal arrives and apologizes to Adit on Lipika’s behalf. Adit coldly replies that he’s known how things are for years, then takes a call and walks away. Mangal tells Lipika her behavior was inappropriate. Lipika insists that Adit is in the wrong, pointing out that he didn’t even bring a gift. Mangal responds that their presence was enough for her and that she’s just missing Kusum and her children. Lipika admits her mistake and promises not to repeat it.
An employee informs Mangal that they’re about to start a game. Mala encourages Adit to join in. They announce that it’s a spinning bottle game—whoever the bottle points to will have to sing a song for Mangal. As the bottle spins, it finally stops near Adit. Everyone cheers and urges him to sing a song for Mangal.
