The episode begins with Mangal apologizing to Kapil for not telling him earlier about her past. She reveals that she is married and has a son, Akshat. Akshat happily tells Kapil that it’s because of him he got to meet his mother. Kapil says, “You showed me your school, now it’s my turn to show you my office.” Akshat agrees, and Kapil asks him to wait outside.
After Akshat leaves, Kapil tells Mangal that her personal life is her own, and it’s up to her when she wants to reveal it. However, he asks her to follow office protocols, avoid opening gifts during work hours, and maintain professionalism. He then leaves with his gift. Mangal is left confused, thinking Kapil is angry because she didn’t share her past with him earlier.
Kapil opens the gift and finds a ring and a letter inside. He reads the letter and realizes that his mother had written a love letter to Mangal on his behalf. He feels relieved, thinking, “Good thing I caught this in time—if Mangal had read this, I would’ve been in trouble.” He throws the letter into the dustbin. One of the employees notices this.
Meanwhile, Kusum arrives at Adit’s office with a tiffin. Adit shows a file to Mangal, and she asks him to write the orders separately. Kusum is shocked to see Adit and Mangal together and realizes he is working at the Pehla Swad branch. She wonders why Adit never told her. Mangal assigns Adit some tasks and leaves. Adit sits at his desk, irritated that Mangal is correcting his list even though he had prepared it carefully.
Kusum confronts Adit, asking why he didn’t inform her about his job. Adit brushes it off, saying that family members aren’t allowed in the office. Just then, an office boy approaches Adit, asking if Mangal’s slippers should be sent for repair. Kusum is shocked to hear this. The office boy later tells Sowmya that the task is done, and she confirms that his payment has been made.
Kusum, furious, tells Adit not to work under Mangal, accusing her of trying to humiliate and take revenge on him. She insists he quit and come home with her, saying she can’t bear to see him insulted. Adit replies that he can’t leave the job. Kusum emotionally blackmails him, saying she knows he took the job for her surgery and household expenses, but working under Mangal is unacceptable. Mangal overhears Kusum’s voice and is about to approach, but Diya takes her aside. Adit manages to send Kusum away, promising to talk to her later at night.
Later, Mangal asks Adit where Kusum went and says that if she had known she was coming, she would’ve arranged for her to sit comfortably in the cabin. Adit accuses Mangal of treating them like inferiors and claims she ordered the peon to tell him to get her slippers repaired. Mangal denies the allegation, calls the peon, and proves she didn’t give such an order. She apologizes to Adit, but he says she humiliated him in front of everyone and has never felt more insulted. He lashes out at her.
Just then, Akshat arrives with Kapil and calls Mangal “mom.” He also calls Adit “dad” and asks if he works here. Adit confirms, and the office staff is stunned to learn that Mangal and Adit are a couple. Adit tells Akshat he has to go for a meeting and will talk to him at home, then leaves. Kapil checks on Mangal, who nods that she’s fine. She asks Akshat to go home. Kapil agrees to drop him and sends him with the driver. Mangal thanks Kapil for reuniting her with her son. Kapil replies that he’s happy for her, then reminds her about the upcoming meeting.
During the meeting, Adit presents the sales figures and targets. After his presentation, Kapil asks for Mangal’s opinion. Mangal requests Adit to forward all the documents, saying she suspects some miscalculations. Adit insists he double-checked the data. Kapil supports Mangal and asks Adit to send her the data since she adds the “golden touch.” Adit hands over the pen drive with a mocking comment. Mangal retorts that she takes her work seriously and strives for perfection.
Back at home, Kusum receives a medical delivery but refuses to accept the expensive medicines to save money. Suddenly, she experiences intense back pain and collapses. Mangal rushes to help, but Kusum rejects her assistance and scolds her for insulting Adit.
