The episode begins with Mangal feeling guilty. Kapil tries to console her, saying, “Don’t worry. It was Adit who made the mistake, and you handled the situation well with your timely response. You even secured the investor.” He receives a call and steps aside.
Just then, the peon enters Mangal’s room and places her belongings from the presentation room on her table. Mangal notices a pen drive among the items and realizes it’s not hers. She recalls that she always writes ‘Om’ on her pen drives.
Adit storms into Mangal’s office, furious. He accuses her of deliberately airing his and Sowmya’s photos during the presentation and using his son to frame him in an attempt to get him fired. Mangal questions why he’s damaging her business and upsetting her clients. She explains that the pen drive isn’t hers—she always marks hers with an ‘Om’ symbol—and shows him her own drives as proof.
She calmly tells him, “If I wanted to fire you, I would have done so with a valid reason. I don’t care about your personal life. And if you still believe I insulted you deliberately, you’re free to leave the job.” She adds, “I managed the situation before it went out of control. If I really wanted you gone, I wouldn’t have defended you in front of Kapil.” She then leaves, leaving Adit stunned.
Later, Adit returns home. Sowmya tries to comfort him, saying she’ll use her contacts to help him find another job. She asks if Mangal fired him in front of everyone. Adit tells her that Mangal had a backup presentation and managed the situation, so he wasn’t fired. Sowmya complains that Mangal acted heroic and made him look like a loser, calling her cunning. Adit agrees and says Mangal denied the pen drive was hers. Sowmya insists that Mangal is taking revenge and urges him to quit. Adit, exhausted, says he doesn’t want to argue and goes inside. Sowmya thinks about how to prevent Adit from working with Mangal.
Elsewhere, Pratima tells Kusum that Kapil ruined her plan. Kusum reassures her, saying God will help. Pratima offers her barfi, and Kusum remarks that it tastes like Mangal’s cooking. When asked who made it, Pratima replies it was prepared by her soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Kusum expresses interest in meeting her. Pratima says she’ll be arriving soon. Just as she’s about to reveal her name, Kusum gets a call from her neighbor Saritha.
Meanwhile, Akshat calls Mangal and invites her to participate in a skit for Mother’s Day celebrations in their colony. Mangal agrees and ends the call. Akshat happily dances, excited that his mom will join. Watching this, Sowmya starts plotting again.
Mangal comes home. Pratima tells her that a friend wanted to meet her but had to leave due to an emergency. She invites Mangal to visit the friend’s house the next day. Mangal says she might be busy, but Pratima reveals it’s in Sagar Niketan Colony. Mangal replies that she’s going there too and asks the friend’s name. Before Pratima can answer, Mangal receives a call and steps aside.
Later, Akshat tells Adit that he’s participating in a fancy dress competition and asks if he’ll come to cheer him on. Adit, still upset, tells him to leave. Akshat then calls Kapil, inviting him to watch the skit he and Mangal are performing. Kapil initially says he’s busy, but Akshat pleads. Kapil eventually agrees, and Akshat thanks him, reminding him not to break his promise. Adit overhears and is irked by Kapil’s growing involvement, blaming Mangal for it.
The next day, Akshat reminds Mangal to remember her lines—they must win the skit. Mangal agrees and tells him she’ll bring the costumes from Krishna Tailors. Overhearing this, Sowmya decides to sabotage their performance.
At Krishna Tailors, Mangal asks for the Parvati and Ganapati costumes she requested the day before. The tailor informs her that his workers didn’t show up and he’s about to leave. Mangal insists on searching for the costumes herself. He allows her 10 minutes before closing the shop.
Sneaking in, Sowmya locks the shop door from outside. She lies to the shopkeeper, saying her friend Mangal didn’t like the outfits and has gone to another store. Believing her, the shopkeeper locks the shop and leaves. Inside, Mangal finds the costumes and walks to the door, only to discover it’s locked. She starts banging on the door for help.
