The episode starts with Adit asking the boy to thank the lady who helped him. The boy agrees. One person tells another that Kapil didn’t attend the event, and his representative will be judging instead. Adit overhears this.
Sowmya calls Adit to find out what happened. Adit tells her what he just heard. Sowmya lashes out at him, blaming his bad luck. She says it was a waste of time and money, with no returns. Adit asks what he can do and questions why she is shouting, especially when she’s unwell. Sowmya replies that she’s sick and feeling bad for him. She says she’ll call him later and ends the call.
The manager hands over a list of people who came with business ideas. Mangal says the list is too long and wonders how she can possibly shortlist them. She decides to tell Kapil that she can’t do it, especially since many people have come from across India hoping to present their ideas to him.
Mangal steps aside and calls Kapil, telling him she can’t decide which ideas are the best, and he needs to be present. Kapil encourages her, saying she’s capable and should stop doubting herself. Meanwhile, Adit approaches Kapil’s manager.
Kapil explains to Mangal how to evaluate business ideas. She agrees to manage things until he arrives and urges him to come soon. Kapil lies, saying he’s busy at the hospital, and ends the call, thinking Mangal needs this push to gain confidence.
Pratima walks in and asks Kapil who he was smiling while talking to. He replies it was Mangal. Pratima secretly starts planning to play matchmaker for them.
Adit lashes out at the manager, saying they came to meet Kapil, not his representative, and storms out.
Mangal returns to her stall and learns from the manager about a participant who argued over Kapil’s absence. She tells him to let it go. Mangal and Adit notice a boy in danger and rush to save him—without seeing each other. Mangal helps the boy reunite with his mother.
Later, Mangal tries calling the landline to hear Kusum’s voice but gets a message that the service is unavailable. She then calls Ishana, but someone else answers and tells her it’s not Ishana’s number. Mangal starts feeling uneasy and wonders why. She decides to go to Delhi to check on her kids and Kusum. She plans to speak to Kapil about it the same day.
Mangal submits the list of selected candidates at the investor event. Kapil praises her and says she did a great job. Mangal reminds him of his promise. Kapil asks, “What promise?” Mangal says he agreed she could stay in Jaipur for six months, but now that period is over, and she wants to return to Delhi.
Kapil questions why she suddenly wants to leave and why she seems so restless. He asks if she’s hiding something and urges her to tell him the reason. Mangal stands there, tense and silent.
