The episode starts with terrorists capturing Karthik’s family members along with Lakshmi. They threaten Karthik, demanding he follow through with their plan if he wants to keep his family safe. Karthik enters the stage with a bouquet of flowers to present to the Minister. Meanwhile, using her wit, Lakshmi snatches a revolver from the terrorists and shoots at them. She warns them to back off and alerts the public by shouting that there is a bomb in the mela. Panic spreads as people run for safety. The police escort the Minister away from the scene.
Lakshmi tells Umesh to take the family and leave the mela, promising she will bring Karthik back. She rushes off to find him. The terrorists try to stop the fleeing crowd and set the mela on fire. Lakshmi notices that Karthik is missing. Karthik, meanwhile, spots a little girl in danger because of the fire. He rescues her and hands her over to a caretaker before leaving. The little girl tearfully says, “Lakshmi is my mom,” leaving the caretaker confused.
Karthik sees that only three minutes are left before the bomb explodes. He feels relieved that he managed to save many lives. He recalls his moments with Lakshmi. Suddenly, Lakshmi hugs him from behind. He tries to break free and run away, but Lakshmi stops him and says, “I know what you’re trying to do, but I won’t leave you. I will fulfill my marital vows and stay by your side.” They hug each other in tears. As time runs out, Karthik kisses Lakshmi and embraces her tightly.
Gayatri asks Umesh why Lakshmi hasn’t returned with Karthik. Umesh assures her they will come. Just then, the bomb explodes. Gayatri and the family rush to go inside, but the police stop them. Lakshmi, injured, lies silently on the ground. A doctor checks her and confirms she is still alive, then rushes her to the hospital. Gayatri pleads with the police for information about Karthik and breaks down in tears. Suddenly, she receives a message and smiles after reading it. Sanjana arrives and asks if she is okay. Gayatri responds, “I won’t be fine until I find Karthik.” She asks everyone to go home. Sanjana becomes suspicious of Gayatri’s calm expression. After sending everyone away, Gayatri goes to a location she received in the message. There, she sees someone and is shocked.
Lakshmi regains consciousness in the hospital. Upon seeing Umesh, she immediately asks about Karthik. Umesh tells her that only she was found at the blast site and asks what happened. Lakshmi explains how she removed the bomb jacket from Karthik using the blueprint she had stolen from the terrorists and threw it away. Umesh praises her bravery, saying her courage saved many lives and that he is proud of her. Lakshmi insists they must save Karthik. Just then, Umesh receives a message from Gayatri saying she found Karthik, and both feel relieved.
Meanwhile, Gayatri tells Jia to stay away from Karthik. Seeing an unconscious Karthik, she asks how he is. Jia replies that she saved him and questions why Gayatri wants her to stay away. She reveals that the terrorists turned Karthik into a suicide bomber and that if the police catch him, he will be arrested. Jia says she protected Karthik from many dangers. Gayatri accuses her of having other intentions and says she cannot trust her. Jia declares her love for Karthik and says, “I care for him—I’m not like you or Lakshmi. I promised to save him, and I did.” She places Karthik’s hand in Gayatri’s and leaves.
Back at the hospital, Umesh tries to reassure Lakshmi and says he will speak to the doctor about her discharge. Suddenly, the police arrive and declare that Lakshmi is under arrest. Umesh asks why. The inspector claims that according to terrorist confessions, Lakshmi was part of the plan and is being charged as a suicide bomber. Lakshmi protests, saying she only tried to save her husband and has no links to the terrorists. Umesh tries to defend her, saying Karthik was the one wearing the bomb jacket, but Lakshmi stops him. Despite Umesh’s efforts, the police arrest Lakshmi.
