The episode starts with the police asking Lakshmi to surrender. Lakshmi refuses and says she escaped to prove her innocence, but someone betrayed her trust. Karan asks Lakshmi to surrender. Lakshmi tells Karan that she will not go to jail for a crime she did not commit. She asks who will take care of Shanvi if she goes to jail, especially when Karan does not even want to see Shanvi’s face. Lakshmi uses a fire extinguisher to create chaos and escapes from the cops.
Lakshmi vows to prove her innocence. As she tries to leave, she is surrounded by Vyom, Bhavani, and Jia’s cars.
Jia mocks Lakshmi. Lakshmi attempts to escape but fails. Jia forcefully snatches the baby from Lakshmi, while Bhavani and Vyom restrain her.
Lakshmi pleads with Jia not to harm Shanvi. Bhavani tells Lakshmi that she took her son away from her, and now she will suffer the same pain. Jia says Lakshmi will suffer even more because she will witness her baby dying right in front of her eyes. Lakshmi begs them not to hurt Shanvi, but they ignore her.
Jia places the baby on the road. Vyom gets into his car. Jia holds Lakshmi down as Vyom drives the car over the baby. Lakshmi loses consciousness before she can fully see what happens.
Lakshmi regains consciousness in prison. She asks the lady constable about her baby. The constable lashes out at Lakshmi and tells her that while she was trying to escape, a car hit them and her baby died in the accident. Lakshmi insists that the constable is lying and says that Jia, Bhavani, and Vyom killed Shanvi. The constable refuses to believe her and orders her to stay quiet.
Karan feels guilty for betraying Lakshmi. Bhavani approaches Karan and tells him that Lakshmi has killed the baby as well. Karan asks Bhavani what she means.
Jia arrives and explains to Karan that Lakshmi was trying to escape from the cops when a car hit them, and the baby died in the accident. Karan becomes emotional upon hearing this.
Jia tells Bhavani that Lakshmi should have died instead and now she has to live alone with this child. Jia says she will leave the house. Bhavani stops her, saying she cannot leave because she is carrying Krish’s child. Karan also says that the Kapoor family will take care of her. Bhavani asks Karan with what right Jia will stay in the house, adding that a child without a father will never be respected. She then asks Karan if he is willing to take responsibility for Jia. Karan agrees. Bhavani leaves, followed by Karan.
Jia thinks to herself that this fake pregnancy has secured her place in the Kapoor mansion, and soon the Kapoor family property will belong to her.
Karan thinks that he could have accepted Shanvi, but Lakshmi always lied to him. Meanwhile, Lakshmi thinks that if Karan had believed her, she would not have lost Shanvi.
The episode ends.
