The episode starts with Sanjana questioning Gayatri about how Karthik returned home. Gayatri tells her to stop asking questions. Karthik regains consciousness but is unable to speak due to the injection administered by the terrorists. He gestures to ask about Lakshmi. Sanjana informs him that Lakshmi is in the hospital and Umesh is with her.
At that moment, Umesh returns home and reveals that Lakshmi has been arrested after being framed by the terrorists. He adds that Lakshmi didn’t reveal Karthik’s identity as the suicide bomber to protect him. Hearing this, Karthik rushes to the police station to save Lakshmi. Gayatri blames Lakshmi for Karthik’s problems, but Umesh and Sanjana rebuke her, reminding her that Lakshmi saved Karthik’s life.
At the station, the security team of the mela gives their statement against Lakshmi. Karthik arrives and hugs Lakshmi. He tries to explain her innocence to the inspector but fails to speak. The inspector tells Karthik not to interfere and orders the constable to take Lakshmi away. Despite Karthik’s emotional plea, the inspector warns him to leave and come back the next day with a lawyer to seek permission to meet Lakshmi.
At home, Karthik feels helpless and angry about not being able to save Lakshmi. He tries to speak but fails and throws things in frustration. Gayatri tries to console him. Later, Karthik has a nightmare in which Lakshmi is sentenced to death. He wakes up in shock.
Jia approaches Karthik and tells him that she wants to help him regain his voice, as she and his fans loved it. She says he can save Lakshmi if he gets his voice back. Karthik looks at her with suspicion. Jia urges him to trust her and promises to bring Lakshmi back to him. Just as Karthik is about to walk away, Jia stops him and claims to know a doctor who can help him regain his voice.
Family members arrive and ask Jia to leave. She pleads with Gayatri to support her. Gayatri considers Jia’s offer and asks the family to listen. However, Umesh refuses Jia’s help and asks her to leave. Frustrated, Karthik throws Jia out of the house and shuts the door. Jia smirks.
