The episode begins with Mangal searching for Karthik in the mela. Usha spots Lakshmi there and calls out to her, but Lakshmi doesn’t hear her and continues looking for Karthik. Usha then calls Gayatri and informs her that Lakshmi is at the mela. A confused Gayatri tells Umesh that while they were waiting for Lakshmi’s call, she is actually at the mela. Umesh suggests that maybe Karthik is there too.
Meanwhile, the terrorist instructs Lakshmi to behave normally. Lakshmi asks for a samosa and uses the opportunity to write a note seeking help. She hands it to a guard as she boards the giant wheel and informs him about the bomb threat and the need to protect the minister. The guard agrees to help her. Karthik notices the crowd and the number of children present and becomes anxious. Lakshmi hopes the minister doesn’t attend the event, believing it could prevent the blast. However, to her shock, Minister Chandrika arrives. Lakshmi wonders why the guard didn’t stop her.
Suddenly, the main terrorist appears and reveals that the guard is under his control, as his family is being held hostage. Lakshmi pleads with him to spare the innocent people and take her life instead, but he refuses. She desperately thinks of a way to save everyone.
The terrorist then orders Karthik to present a bouquet to the minister, threatening Lakshmi’s life if he refuses. Karthik walks towards the stage but, seeing the children, runs back to the giant wheel. A terrorist joins him there. Karthik recalls that the giant wheel has a faulty mechanism and that pressing a red button will lift it and stop it. He activates the bomb and throws the remote away. When the terrorists try to escape, Karthik stops them.
Gayatri and Umesh arrive at the mela and find Lakshmi, who informs them that Karthik is in danger and has risked his life to save everyone. A terrorist calls Ballu and instructs him to hold Lakshmi at gunpoint. Karthik’s family hides from the terrorists while Gayatri cries. Lakshmi tells them she’ll take care of it and urges them to stay hidden. Gayatri blames Lakshmi for Karthik’s situation. Umesh defends Lakshmi and encourages her to save Karthik. Gayatri, however, says she knows what’s best for her son and decides to take action.
Gayatri comes out of hiding and prays for Karthik’s safety. A terrorist sees her and secretly points a gun at her. Lakshmi notices Gayatri in danger. The terrorist warns Gayatri not to make any noise and then informs his boss that, although he hasn’t found Karthik’s wife, he has found his mother.
The boss calls Karthik and says they’ve captured his mother. Karthik, seeing her at gunpoint, agrees to cooperate and pleads with them not to harm her. The boss instructs Karthik to bring them down. Karthik presea The button and The giant wheel descends, and Karthik and the terrorist step out.
Karthik’s family is then shown in the terrorists’ custody. The boss mocks Karthik and his family.
