The episode starts with a jail inmate trying to kill Lakshmi, believing she is a traitor to the country. The police intervene, separate them, and shift Lakshmi to another cell. Karthik appears in front of Lakshmi and tells her that he will prove her innocence. Lakshmi then wakes up from her dream and thinks to herself that she’s sure Karthik will save her.
The doctor informs Karthik that he must undergo treatment to regain his voice. Meanwhile, Umesh tells the lawyer that Lakshmi has saved many lives but has been wrongly framed. The lawyer says, “I understand, but every witness is against her. The case is in a fast-track court, and we can’t gather enough evidence in just one day. I fear this case is out of our hands—she might be severely punished.”
Karthik prays to Maata Rani to save Lakshmi. In frustration, he bangs his head against the wall, and it starts bleeding. His family members try to stop him.
A constable tells Lakshmi that she’s being taken back to the cell from custody and that her hanging is imminent. Lakshmi pushes the constable and escapes. Karthik receives a call that Lakshmi has escaped from jail. He rushes out in his car and searches for her, eventually spotting someone.
The police and their team arrive and warn Lakshmi not to run, or they will shoot. She runs, and the inspector fires. Karthik screams her name and runs to the person—only to discover it’s Jia, not Lakshmi. Surprised, he asks her what she’s doing. Jia says she planned this whole act and that his voice has returned. Karthik realizes his voice really is back. Jia tells him that she coordinated with the doctor to give him shock therapy, and it worked. She apologizes and asks for forgiveness. Karthik says he needs to go to Lakshmi and leaves. Jia thinks to herself that she wants to earn back Karthik’s trust.
Meanwhile, on the way to transfer Lakshmi, it is shown that Lakshmi saved the constable’s life. The constable tells others that she now believes Lakshmi is innocent. Just then, Karthik stops the police vehicle and gives his confession, along with the exact location of the terrorists, insisting that Lakshmi is innocent. The inspector asks if he’s misleading them, and Karthik assures them he’s telling the truth.
Later, the inspector tells Karthik that his information helped them make major breakthroughs. They learned from the terrorist gang that Lakshmi was framed. She is now proven innocent and will be released. Karthik and Lakshmi smile at each other. The constable says she always believed Lakshmi was innocent after she saved her. Karthik and Lakshmi hug, promising they can do anything for each other’s well-being. The police applaud them, and the constable praises their love. Karthik and Lakshmi leave the station together.
As they approach home, Karthik tells Lakshmi that everyone will be happy to see them back. But they are shocked to see the house in darkness. They feel uneasy. Karthik says, “I informed Dad we were coming—I don’t know what’s going on.” Suddenly, the lights turn on, and the family surprises them with a warm welcome. Gayatri hides her disappointment. Umesh says, “You both returned with honor—I’m happy.”
Lakshmi says she’s lucky to have Karthik and this family. Karthik replies, “I’m the lucky one to have a wife like you.” Umesh says Ridhi was right—this is a happy day, and they should celebrate. He suggests a party tonight. Gayatri ignores several calls and reluctantly agrees to arrange the party.
Later, Gayatri steps aside and answers a call from Jia. Jia says, “I helped Karthik get his voice back, and now I want Karthik back too.” Gayatri says, “That’s not possible.” Jia tries to blackmail her, but Gayatri refuses to help and cuts the call. As she turns around, she’s shocked to see Lakshmi standing there.
