The episode begins with Gayatri refusing to help Jia and cutting the call. She turns around and finds Lakshmi standing there. Gayatri tries to explain, but Lakshmi asks why she looks worried and what secret she was talking about on the phone. Gayatri lies, saying she was speaking to Raj about making kadai paneer, but he refused. Lakshmi offers to prepare it herself. Gayatri, thinking to herself, wonders when Jia’s blackmail will finally end, and leaves. Lakshmi senses that her mother seems too stressed for it to be just about a caterer.
Later, Lakshmi is getting ready when Karthik back-hugs her and helps her pleat her saree. They share a romantic moment. He applies a kaala tika behind her ear and calls her beautiful, saying she is the most beautiful girl in the world to him. He shows her the mirror. Lakshmi smiles and tells him that he pleated the saree wrong, then fixes it herself. She says she enjoys his antics and wants these moments every day. Karthik smiles and asks if that means she’s giving him permission to do this daily. She blushes. He gives her a gift — a couple globe. He says the globe represents them, and that they’ll stand together through tough times. Lakshmi places the gift on the table and hugs him. As Karthik twirls her, the globe accidentally falls and breaks. Lakshmi is upset, saying the globe represented them and now it’s broken. Karthik notices her hand is bleeding. He asks her not to worry and assures her that their bond is unbreakable and he’ll never leave her in this life. She hugs him. He then suggests they go enjoy the party.
At the party, Karthik and Lakshmi arrive, and Nidhi asks them to cut the cake. They happily feed each other and then their family members. They dance joyfully. Just then, Jia enters and tells she came to apologise to them. Lakshmi reacts sharply and tries to throw her out, but Karthik stops her. He tells Lakshmi that Jia is the reason he got his voice back and explains how Jia helped him. Lakshmi is shocked to hear this.
Jia pleads with Lakshmi to give her a chance, but Lakshmi refuses and criticizes her. She questions Karthik if he truly believes Jia. Karthik replies that while he doesn’t trust her completely, he owes her and is willing to forgive her one last time.
Jia again pleads for one final chance and says she has realized she can’t come between two people who love each other. Lakshmi remains silent after hearing her words. Gayatri watches Jia, worried that she might reveal her secret to Karthik. Jia tells the Nigam family that she understands they need time to forgive her and leaves.
Lakshmi tells Karthik that while she understands his sense of gratitude, they shouldn’t blindly trust Jia. Karthik says they should forget about Jia for now and enjoy the party. Lakshmi agrees.
As they dance, Lakshmi gets tangled in her saree pallu. Karthik apologizes and asks her to go change.
Meanwhile, Gayatri receives a message from Jia, asking her to come outside. She makes up an excuse and leaves. Covering her face with a shawl, Gayatri confronts Jia, asking her to stop the blackmail. She pleads for both of them to be spared, saying they have both suffered enough.
Inside, Lakshmi sees the wind blowing and tries to close the door. She spots Gayatri talking to Jia and grows suspicious. She heads downstairs.
Jia taunts Gayatri and warns her about what will happen if Karthik learns the truth. Gayatri asks why Jia thinks Karthik would believe her. Jia replies that while he may not believe her directly, he will believe Gayatri if she says it. Gayatri refuses. Jia then shows her a video of Gayatri pleading with Jia in the past — asking her to let Karthik marry Lakshmi, despite the ‘dosh’ in Karthik’s horoscope, and promising to remove Lakshmi from his life at the right time. Jia threatens to show the video to Karthik if Gayatri doesn’t cooperate. She says once Karthik finds out that Jia left him because of Gayatri, he will break his relationship with Gayatri. Jia declares that she only wants Karthik and walks away.
Lakshmi, who has overheard their conversation, is stunned and wonders what the connection is between Jia leaving Karthik and Gayatri.
