The episode begins with Lakshmi deciding to uncover the secret that Jia used to threaten Gayatri. Later, Karthik sees Gayatri coming inside. He calls out to her and insists she feed him with her hands. Gayatri initially refuses but eventually agrees. Lakshmi comes in and sits in her chair. Gayatri begins feeding Karthik.
Karthik complains that she’s feeding him pickle. Gayatri apologizes and says she didn’t notice. Lakshmi asks Gayatri why she looks stressed and if she’s okay. Gayatri replies that it was just a mistake and says, “Don’t think I’m mad.” She then tells Karthik, “I know today is important, but I’m feeling tense,” and leaves.
Umesh tells Karthik that he’ll look after Gayatri and follows her. Lakshmi thinks to herself that she needs to tell Karthik that it’s the pendrive that’s scaring Gayatri—not her high BP.
Karthik practices a song. Lakshmi compliments him, saying it’s a good song. Karthik tells her he’s dedicating the song to his mom since tomorrow is Mother’s Day. Lakshmi agrees.
Lakshmi then asks Karthik why he broke up with Jia before their marriage. Karthik replies that he tried to stop Jia from leaving the country, but she didn’t listen to him. He adds, “It’s for the best, because I found you—my true love.” Lakshmi smiles. However, she wonders why Jia left Karthik suddenly without giving a proper explanation. She suspects that Gayatri may know the reason and that this might be what Jia is using to blackmail her. Lakshmi decides to find out the truth.
The next day, at the dining table, Karthik asks Gayatri how she is. Gayatri replies, “I’m better now—I slept well.” A parcel arrives for Karthik from someone with the initial “J”. Karthik assumes it might be from a fan and picks it up. Gayatri panics, thinking it might be from Jia. She quickly takes the parcel from him, lies that it contains her beauty products, and walks away.
Gayatri tries to destroy the pendrive. Lakshmi confronts her and asks what secret she’s hiding. Gayatri denies everything and warns her to back off. Lakshmi says she saw her meeting Jia the previous night and noticed how frightened she looked in front of the family. She urges Gayatri to tell the truth and says she’s the one who sent the pendrive. Lakshmi assures her that they can fight Jia together and asks for the truth. Gayatri refuses and tells Lakshmi to stay away. Lakshmi insists and promises to help her. Gayatri, recalling Jia’s warning, accidentally pushes Lakshmi.
Meanwhile, Karthik plans a surprise.
Jia receives a message from Gayatri saying she can’t meet her alone because it’s too risky. Gayatri tells her the proof she wants is in a cardboard box and asks her to check it.
Jia goes to the box and finds Lakshmi unconscious inside. She assumes Lakshmi is dead and says, “Now there’s no need for any blackmail or this pendrive.” She throws the pendrive beside Lakshmi, messages Gayatri, and leaves.
Lakshmi, opens her eyes , thinks it’s good that her plan worked. Now, she can find out what’s on the pendrive.
